Sweet Giveaway: Matryoshka M-Cups Giveaway!

Things that are sad: CakeSpy's birthday week is over. And (bad spy) the giveaway schedule had a slight hitch: friday's giveaway never went up! Yikes (must have been too busy eating Birthday Cake French Toast!).

Things that are glad: There's a final giveaway to cap the week and say thank you for the totally sweet memories.

That's right: here's another giveaway, this time for the lovely and amazing M-Cups by super-creative company FRED! Here's a description:

This set of 6 dry-measure cups nests neatly just like traditional Russian matryoshkas. They accurately measure 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 full cup, and they’re built from heavy-duty, food-safe, long-life engineering plastics. M-Cups are useful, easy to store, and quite charming...so why not doll up YOUR kitchen with a little Russian folklore? Each set is packaged in a full-color printed giftbox.

They're a popular seller at CakeSpy Shop, and now you can win a set for free! How? Simply answer the following pressing cake question below. US and Canadian entrants only this time, please! The giveaway will close next Tuesday, September 7, at 12pm PST. Good luck!

Here's the question:

What is your least favorite dessert, and why?

anything with coconut (flakes) - i've never liked coconut flakes, ever.

Pudding, it just has a gross texture!

I would say store-bought basic birthday cake...just doesn't do it for me...icing is too sweet and waxy, and the cake is nothing special.

Boring cake without any/enough frosting. Of course, cake without frosting/sufficient frosting/good frosting IS boring cake.

Flan. I have only had it once - I will probably never try it again. It was like scrambeled eggs on the bottom layer. Not good at all.

Tapioca pudding. I just can't get past the look and consistency of it. Ick!

Honestly??? I don't want candy for dessert

Anything that is supposed to be "healthy." The whole-wheat, raisin-studded, "sweetened" with applesauce "cake" that my mom used to make comes to mind. Looks like cake, smells like cake, tastes like cardboard.

It's dessert! Inherently unhealthy! As it was meant to be.

anything of the pre-packaging variety (think ding-dongs, ho-ho's, twinkies, entemann's, etc) is probably my least favorite kind of dessert. im a home-made kind of girl!

Jello with fruit inside. The two textures do not work for me and make me think of hairy cafeteria workers.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterPaula

Big, beautiful cookies from a bakery that turn out to be dry and flavorless!

My least favorite question... its like asking which of my best friends i dislike the most! lol, i am really not a fan of those like fruit bunt cake things given out at Christmas :p not good

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterBecky

Cherry or Blueberry Pie. Bake either into cake or muffins and you're golden. In pie? Blech.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

Anything with bananas...not a big fan when they are cooked into something.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterTamara

Poorly made red velvet cakes that taste of bitter food colouring, and anything with nasty-tasting frosting, especially if it's a poorly made red velvet cupcake! Use butter, people.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterKari

You know, I've never really liked pecan pie. Just not my type of desert.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterCasey

Fruitcake. It's the gift that keeps on giving because I always pass it onto someone else.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterCec

Flan. That gel crap ruins fruit. Goo is not good.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterNicole

My least favorite dessert is blueberry anything. I have recently read that blueberries are really good for you and I try to find some way to eat them--that I like--yuck.

August 31 | Unregistered Commenterelizabeth

The worst desert is one that looks delicious and coconut is hiding inside!
Woof!

CHEESECAKE!!!!! CHEESE AND CAKE???!!! HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG???!!!
See my enthusiasm??? heehee :)
Cheesecake comes in so many flavors, and the mouthfeel is epic!

pie

WONDERFUL!! I was so excited, I answered the question wrong!!
Least favorite dessert?? Sugar-free anything. ewwww!
And to all the people downing Flan...obviously you have never had a well made one. I feel sorry for you!!

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterJoan

Oh this is a hard one! But I'm going to have to go with pumpkin pie, which could very well be the only dessert I have ever tasted which I have no desire to ever eat again. It's just... the texture, the overpowering flavor, and really the whole idea of it. I can't do it.

August 31 | Unregistered CommenterMelissa

Jello Mold. Jiggly, ugly, and even worse..when fruit or other edibles are suspended inside.
