Sweet Giveaway: Matryoshka M-Cups Giveaway!
Things that are sad: CakeSpy's birthday week is over. And (bad spy) the giveaway schedule had a slight hitch: friday's giveaway never went up! Yikes (must have been too busy eating Birthday Cake French Toast!).
Things that are glad: There's a final giveaway to cap the week and say thank you for the totally sweet memories.
That's right: here's another giveaway, this time for the lovely and amazing M-Cups by super-creative company FRED! Here's a description:
This set of 6 dry-measure cups nests neatly just like traditional Russian matryoshkas. They accurately measure 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 full cup, and they’re built from heavy-duty, food-safe, long-life engineering plastics. M-Cups are useful, easy to store, and quite charming...so why not doll up YOUR kitchen with a little Russian folklore? Each set is packaged in a full-color printed giftbox.
They're a popular seller at CakeSpy Shop, and now you can win a set for free! How? Simply answer the following pressing cake question below. US and Canadian entrants only this time, please! The giveaway will close next Tuesday, September 7, at 12pm PST. Good luck!
Here's the question:
What is your least favorite dessert, and why?
Update: The winner!
We have a winner, friends! It's Andrea, who has a least favorite dessert which may prove controversial:
I'm not a huge fan of chocolate chip cookies. I'd rather eat the chocolate chips straight out of the bag or have the cookie minus the chips.
Well, she can just bake something else with these totally sweet cups, I guess! Congratulations!

Least favorite dessert: Ricotta Cheesecake. It's a texture thing mostly and also, it tastes like health food. Give me NY style.
Brownies. I never find them moist enough.

What a question. I've never met a dessert I didn't like. Well, I've had some dry chocolate croissants.
I know that I can't win this giveaway because I am the one hosting it, but I did want to weigh in and say that my least favorite is probably Flan. So underwhelming.
Flan. I just. don't. get it.
I have to say tiramisu, just because of a terrible experience with an overly boozy, mushy version of this dessert.
I like most desserts.. But, my least favorite is probably a fruit pastry..
I can't think of a dessert I don't like. How about dry cake lol
Brownies. I'm not a chocolate fan, or a warm dessert fan......brownies are both.
I would have to say fruitcake. The smell and taste is just not appealing to me. Definitely my least favorite dessert.
Things that contain marzipan. It's just too sweet/almondy for me. :(
My least favorite would probably be some pb chocolate chip cookies I recently got from an upscale bakery. I honestly didn't think there was such a thing as a bad cookie but I was proved wrong. My children were also subjected to the awfulness, they had sugar cookies with royal icing that was so rock hard I thought I had cracked a tooth! I was actually surprised that my girls would not finish theirs. lol-it was at that moment I realized that I'm raising some baked goods snobs, if it's not homemade it's just not good enough! :D
Creme brulee. Any sort of custard, really. Flan, purin. Shudder.
rice pudding, cause that is just weird.
Cherry pie. Ugh... it's the height of my all fruit pies (and cherries baked in anything) dislike.
Least favorite dessert: the cheese plate. I love all things cheese, but not when it serves as a dessert imposter. Cheese AND dessert, please!
Oh my goodness, my least faveorite dessert would have to be bannana pudding that starts with a box of banana pudding jel-o. It's just wrong, it's sinful. If you make pudding like that you are hurting yourself and everyone arround you. Stop it now, before its too late.
Macarons - I've never had a good one.
cannoli... I want to like it but am disappointed every time.
Cherry pie..........there's just something about the filling that makes me cringe
Pie!
Halo-halo. It sounds good in theory, but I've never tasted one that I actually liked.
Mincemeat. What is it? And why? Ii always confuse it with sweetmeats which is brains and snouts and things.
Nothing sweet about that.
Pineapple upside down cake. I've always found the texture to be weird.
Bread pudding made with croissants and a caramel-strawberry sauce. It's too good!
