Sweet Giveaway: Matryoshka M-Cups Giveaway!

Things that are sad: CakeSpy's birthday week is over. And (bad spy) the giveaway schedule had a slight hitch: friday's giveaway never went up! Yikes (must have been too busy eating Birthday Cake French Toast!).

Things that are glad: There's a final giveaway to cap the week and say thank you for the totally sweet memories.

That's right: here's another giveaway, this time for the lovely and amazing M-Cups by super-creative company FRED! Here's a description:

This set of 6 dry-measure cups nests neatly just like traditional Russian matryoshkas. They accurately measure 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 full cup, and they’re built from heavy-duty, food-safe, long-life engineering plastics. M-Cups are useful, easy to store, and quite charming...so why not doll up YOUR kitchen with a little Russian folklore? Each set is packaged in a full-color printed giftbox.

They're a popular seller at CakeSpy Shop, and now you can win a set for free! How? Simply answer the following pressing cake question below. US and Canadian entrants only this time, please! The giveaway will close next Tuesday, September 7, at 12pm PST. Good luck!

Here's the question:

What is your least favorite dessert, and why?

A russian dessert my grandmother used to make...prune's stuffed with walnuts swimming in sweet cream...maybe if it would be good if it was something other than prunes...

I can't stand anything with melon in it! Yuck.

fruitcake - do you know when others eat it their teeth squeak?

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterJoy

My least favorite dessert is when people try passing fruit off as a treat. Fruit is not a dessert. It is fruit. It does not take the place of cookies, candy, ice cream, and the like. I hope I win, thanks!!

Anything with Black Licorice...
I just posted the cups on my blog too...great minds think alike :)

I think my least favorite dessert is cheesecake. Not worth all the calories to me like other desserts.
(these are the cutest measuring cups, btw, adorable! if i don't win, i might have to buy them anyway!)

Sweet Potato Pie or Mincemeat Pie. They are just gross!

Anything with those super-glazed strawberries. It's a waste of perfectly good strawberries. Ick.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterElisabeth

flan, so unappealing.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterErin

FLAN. Ugh. It looks like boogers.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterLiz

Anything with coconut, bleh! I have tried to like it but I just can't.

September 1 | Unregistered Commenterashley

I would have to agree that flan is my least favorite. I just don't like the texture and the taste is just blah.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterBrittany Davis

anything with FRUIT in it!
yuck :[

it's supposed to be dessert:
sweet, yummy, calorie infested, and gorgeous
...no fruit

i want dessert, not a fruit salad :]

September 1 | Unregistered Commentercassandra

Flan - I can't handle the texture or maybe dry cake.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterAmber

Rice pudding hands down.....I dont know in my head the combination of rice--something every asian eats on a daily basis, made into a pudding doesnt make sense. the consistency and taste yahh no thank you. I'll pass and have a cupcake instead :D

Fruit cake because it was forced on me during the already tense holiday season. And then I had to hear about the process that the baker goes through in making said fruit cake. This is done at great length. Every year.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterRosie

I would have to say bread pudding as well. It is just too goopy.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterDarenda Keeton

Fig Newtons. They taste like sand.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterKristen

Flan!... Being Mexican-American I might be shunned for saying that but I don't get it. Yuck!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterStephanie

I have been lusting after these for like a year!

My LEAST favourite dessert? Banana pudding. And I live in the south so it's at every buffet, smearing every dessert table. Something about the texture of the nilla wafers against the mushy bananas... herk, someone fetch me a pail.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterNicole

It's a tie between: bread pudding, custard or anything with rhubarb. Bleh!!!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterApril Crumbley

My least favorite dessert is fruitcake...although I DO like stolen and panatone. Go figure!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterChristina

My least favorite dessert is still something I truly like to eat. There just aren't any desserts I can't enjoy. But for this giveaway's sake, tiramisu. It's really the consistency I'm not entirely keen on. But overall, a satisfactory taste.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterSteph

I'm not a fan of nut based desserts. I love the pecan pie "goo" but the pecans on top just ruin it for me!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterAmy S.

Anything with hidden coconut. Eewww...
:)
