Sweet Giveaway: Matryoshka M-Cups Giveaway!

Things that are sad: CakeSpy's birthday week is over. And (bad spy) the giveaway schedule had a slight hitch: friday's giveaway never went up! Yikes (must have been too busy eating Birthday Cake French Toast!).

Things that are glad: There's a final giveaway to cap the week and say thank you for the totally sweet memories.

That's right: here's another giveaway, this time for the lovely and amazing M-Cups by super-creative company FRED! Here's a description:

This set of 6 dry-measure cups nests neatly just like traditional Russian matryoshkas. They accurately measure 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 full cup, and they’re built from heavy-duty, food-safe, long-life engineering plastics. M-Cups are useful, easy to store, and quite charming...so why not doll up YOUR kitchen with a little Russian folklore? Each set is packaged in a full-color printed giftbox.

They're a popular seller at CakeSpy Shop, and now you can win a set for free! How? Simply answer the following pressing cake question below. US and Canadian entrants only this time, please! The giveaway will close next Tuesday, September 7, at 12pm PST. Good luck!

Here's the question:

What is your least favorite dessert, and why?

I can't believe so many people dislike some of my favorites...like flan or pineapple upside down cake ! I am having a really hard time thinking of a dessert I don't like but if I have to pick, I would say mincemeat pie !

Pudding. Blech.

this is one of the most excellent resourceful websites of its kind. replica hermes|
I enjoy reading it every day.I will be back.

Rhubarb anything! I am not a fan of things that have the texture of celery in my baked goods or desserts. Blech!

How cute are those!
Least favorite -- pretty much anything that is too sweet. It has to have some intrigue and nuance to the flavor, texture, and the experience to make it to the 2nd bite for me.

No-bake cheesecake. No matter how it's prepared it always tastes off. I just don't find the no-bake version as good as the baked version. Maybe because the individual doesn't put as much effort into making it and comes through somehow in the taste.

Pudding. I have an issue with texture and there is just something offsetting about eating pudding,

Flan! Need I say more?

carrot cake. keep the veggies out of my dessert!

Pie. It's too dry for me, and generally the proportions of filling-to-pastry are a bit off for my taste.

Key Lime Pie. I CAN NOT STAND IT! :-(

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterHannah

I don't like any dessert with an anise flavored base.

Chocolate angel food cake....at least the one I tried.

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

The kind of store bought cake that seems to be at everyone's birthday/shower/graduation/ whatever parties. The cake is always too dry and the frosting has no flavor only an overwhelming amount of sugar.

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterRachel

I do not like anything with nuts or coconut. But my least favorite is Red Velvet Cake...gasp. I just have yet to try one that wasn't really dry and odd tasting

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterSarah

Anything with blueberries... and flan. Yick...

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterDori

Least favorite dessert.........eclairs!The ick factor is huge!

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterMarcy

I absolutely despise Banana Pudding with those little Nilla wafers it it. SO GROSS!!

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterLaura

Coconut Cream Pie - I love the sweet cream filling, but the coconut is so easy to botch! You either end up with these little chewy bits left behind in your mouth, or it was just raw enough to spoil the taste.

September 2 | Unregistered Commentermidlfig

I just can't get into cannoli--not a fan of sweetened ricotta (cringing now just thinking about it...).

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterSusan B.

I'm really not a fan of tiramisu. Too much alcohol, not enough chocolate.

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterKelly

I shudder just thinking about rice pudding.

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

My least favorite dessert are gulab jamun. On paper they sound delicious, Indian fried dough balls, flavored with cardamom and saturated with rose water simple syrup. In reality, I find them too sweet and perfumy for my taste buds.

September 2 | Unregistered CommenterStinkle

My least favorite dessert is anything made with wheat, I guess, because I really want to eat it and then either I can't because I know I'll feel ill or I give in and do eat it and then I feel sick. It's kind of a catch 22 for someone like me who pretty much likes any kind of dessert she can get her hands on. :)
