Sweet Giveaway: Matryoshka M-Cups Giveaway!

Things that are sad: CakeSpy's birthday week is over. And (bad spy) the giveaway schedule had a slight hitch: friday's giveaway never went up! Yikes (must have been too busy eating Birthday Cake French Toast!).

Things that are glad: There's a final giveaway to cap the week and say thank you for the totally sweet memories.

That's right: here's another giveaway, this time for the lovely and amazing M-Cups by super-creative company FRED! Here's a description:

This set of 6 dry-measure cups nests neatly just like traditional Russian matryoshkas. They accurately measure 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4 and 1 full cup, and they’re built from heavy-duty, food-safe, long-life engineering plastics. M-Cups are useful, easy to store, and quite charming...so why not doll up YOUR kitchen with a little Russian folklore? Each set is packaged in a full-color printed giftbox.

They're a popular seller at CakeSpy Shop, and now you can win a set for free! How? Simply answer the following pressing cake question below. US and Canadian entrants only this time, please! The giveaway will close next Tuesday, September 7, at 12pm PST. Good luck!

Here's the question:

What is your least favorite dessert, and why?

Cheesecake, sorry it doesn't do anything for me. Bring on cakes, pies, cookies, ice cream and chocoate anything!

My least favorite desserts are those that don't contain chocolate. I mean, what's the point? If I'm going to sacrifice half a days worth of calories on a dessert, it should at least contain enough chocolate to satisfy my cravings.

Homemade fruit pops or fruitsicles. I know they should be delicious in theory...what's not to like about chilled fruit puree on a stick? When I think of dessert I don't necessarily imagine a 5 layer cake with different kinds of frosting and chocolate shavings. What I want is a beautiful dessert served on a plate or in a bowl that I can slowly savor while engrossed in conversation with friends, or sit back and watch an afternoon roll by. Even Jello salad can accomplish this task!

My least favorite dessert is store-bought sheet cake.

My least favorite dessert is anything berry-related. I have this weird texture thing with berries; they freak me out! I always think they LOOK beautiful, but I just don't like them!

The only desert I will not stuff my face with would have to be blackberry pie. I love pie, but blackberries are terribly seedy and should never be consumed in pie form when a more delectable fruit is at hand.

My least favorite dessert is seven layer bars. They are way too sweet!

Least fave dessert is rice pudding. Sweet + rice seems like an odd mixture to me, so I don't like the stuff. It smells yummy, but the texture's just not my thing.

I don't like lemon meringue pie. It has too strong of a lemon flavor and the texture is strange to me.

basically anything not made by me... i'm usually disappointed..

My least favorite dessert is cheesecake. Its hard for me to wrap my head around something cheesy as sweet. Lol, although it doesnt run in the family. My other family members loveeee cheesecake. Except me. Oh well more for them. :)

Anything that doesn't include chocolate and or caramel. For me, a dessert must include one of those components.

Fruit crisp - any fruit. Just leave the fruit alone for dessert... or eat the crisp for breakfast. Any type of fruit crisp is fantastic for breakfast!!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterStasi

Jell-o. It's hooves and bone morrow.

I'd have to sat FLAN .. I just can't handle the texture of it ..eewwwww

I'm such a dessert person it's hard to think of one I don't like, but recently I did have a marble pound cake that wasn't so great. So marble pound cake.
Or really any cake that's dry.

Easy... my response for all "least favorite" questions: tapioca pudding. Is that even a dessert? It does have the word pudding in it. yuck.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterEva

Profiteroles. Does anyone really like them? A dry pastry filled with ice cream

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterCynthia Popp

anything in liquid - and soft squishy fruity things.
Think pears in juice and soft strawberries ugh
Love the hard texture of cookies and cakes
Thanks for the opportunity
Cheers

My least favorite dessert is probably bread pudding or maybe jello if that counts as a dessert!

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterDebbie

I don't like anything with peanut butter, but I can't think of anything specifically.

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterAnn

That is a really tough question. I like all desserts. I guess if I had to choose, tiramisu would be my last picked one.

September 1 | Unregistered Commenterbasicsadie

My least favorite dessert is that banana split layered dessert. If memory serves me right it is so sickeningly sweet and rich, in a way that just the memory of it, makes me feel sick to my stomache. No offense if this is a dessert you like. Thanks,Shelly

My least favorite dessert usually has rhubarb in it

September 1 | Unregistered CommenterMari

tiramisu, I try to eat it but I just can't stand it. Maybe it is the chocolate or the booze since I don't drink. I made one before without the booze and it was ok but I still did not like it.
