I am a big fan of the scene from Elf in which Buddy (Will Ferrell) is preparing his spaghetti while on the phone with his father. He puts on chocolate syrup, M&Ms, and, after a taste test, folds in a pop-tart for good measure. :)
The movie Big Night centers itself all about one big dinner with a Timpano. The whole movie made me go out get the cookbook that sort of went along with it and the bowl to make a timpano.
Anything in Julie and Julia!
The feast, in Babette's Feast.
Such a great giveaway! I have to go with the old favorite, the food scene in Tom Jones. Food never looked so sexy!
All of the pies in the movie Waitress!
One of my favorite movies...Little Women...when they make a cake with powdered sugar and holly. It is so simple, yet looks so yummy. It just warms me up inside!
With the holidays upon us, I would have to say right now it's from Elf when Buddy says the 4 major food groups...candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup.
I too like the food scenes in elf, especially when he cooks his own breakfast!
pretty much every scene in the movie Chocolat w/ Johnny Depp. :) I especially love when they drink the hot chocolate and chocolate cake. yum!!

i'd say in Chocolat when Comte de Reynaud gets caught stuffing his face with all those delicious chocolates. He's like a little school boy who's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Plus, chocolate! Drool!
Also, in City of Angels where Nic Cage asks Meg Ryan what a pear tastes like. Very sensuous.
Steele Magnolia's when they cut the red velvet armadillo groom's cake!!
My favorite movie of all time is Disney's Beauty and the Beast! Though its an animation, I still love the song "Be Our Guest" where all the pots and pans, spoons and dishes dance. its like a parade, but with food!
Marie Antoinette, when they start brining in all those amazing desserts. They all look so decadently scrumptious. That movie makes me hungry
the very end of ratatouille when he puts together the dish ratatoille! i looove that movie, its one of my all time favorites!!!
Oh there are so many. Especially after seeing Julie/Julia! It's a whole movie devoted to enjoying food, with Meryl and Any!
So, from that movie, the scene with a frustrated Julie trying to cook for the food writer. Anyone who has ever made a flop can totally relate. Plus it builds to a make over type scene where it all falls into place.
Sorry, Amy!
When the kids enter Willy Wonka's factory and see all the candy. Oh, and the chocolate waterfall. I don't think anything beats that, honestly. :)
I think one of my favorite food scenes is from Benny & Joon. When Sam (Johnny Depp) is making the rolls dance (same as Charlie Chaplin) and the roll flies off the fork & hits the waitress in the head & he slides down to the end of the counter to rescue the platter of food she dropped!
I think my favorite food-in-movie scene is the lunchroom scene in Mean Girls after Kady has given Regina the Kaltene bars and told her that she has to only eat carbs for them to work. Regina's trying to figure out what to eat for lunch and she asks Kady "Is butter a carb?" Kady responds..."ummm....YESSSS!"
This line comes out of my mouth pretty much any time I use butter in my baking and even at the dinner table. It's just so ridiculous and yet, so hilarious. :)
The first thing I thought of was the scene in Amelie where she and Nino are cooking dinner at the end, but then I was torn between that and when she sinks her hand into the bag of beans when no one is looking. :)
Mamma Mia- who can resist choreographed singing and dancing during dinner?
Uhhhmmm, pretty much ALL of Julie & Julia...mmmmbutter...
I love any movie that has a wedding and they show close ups of the cake. Gotta love a cool designed cake! When Miley Cyrus was here in town filming this summer, my friend Minette was asked to make the wedding cake for the movie....actually 2 cakes, one for cutting and an exact duplicate that wouldn't be cut.
