I can imagine that someone else in this post (perhaps somethree else) mentioned the imaginary scene in Hook when they use their hands to eat "food" the color of exotic birds. It looks so tasty.
For years I have loved the scene in Alfonso Cuarón's "The Little Princess" when the girls wake up to a magical feast. There are so many colors and delicacies. It's beautiful!

Wow what a great give away!! One movie scene that comes to mind would have to be from Harry met Sally!! "I'll have what she's having"
No Reservations when Zoe finally eats the spaghetti in the kitchen
I love the scene in The Truth About Cats and Dogs when Uma Thurman, a starving model type, goes crazy on a plate of cakes/chocolates. Funny.
Pride and Prejudice, although I know its actually a book, most movie versions include a nice little scene where the available bachelor cousin Mr. Collins comes to visit and remarks about how nice the boiled potatoes are. He is gross and nasty and sounds all phlegmy when he says it, its just yuck! But I love the scene nonetheless.
The first time the food magically appears on the tables in "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and all of the children go "Ooooooooo". It always makes me wish I could be there!
In Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" the whole movie looks like a dessert! Everything from the decor to the dresses. However, there is once scene in particular with the song "I want candy" playing while they all eat pastries and try on fancy clothes that really does it for me. Mrs. Doubtfire dinner scene at the end of the movie. So much going on! :)
My current favorite is in New In Town when Renee Z. sits down to dinner with her new secretary's family after she first gets to MN. It really is like that!
Janine
My favorite food-in-movie-scene is the scene in Julie and Julia where Julie and hubby are cooking lobsters. Loved that movie!

I love the spaghetti scene in Lady in the Tramp. It's still a favorite of mine.
How about in Christmas vacation when they bring out the turkey and they go to carve it and poof all the air comes out of it and it pretty much deflates. Then then eat one very gross looking meal especially considering everything that happened to the food prior to cooking it.
Also, Armageddon when he is climbing up her stomach with the animal crackers. I don't know why I love that I guess just because they are so in love! I love love!
The cooking scenes in Simply Irrestible where the scents seem to float into the air remind me of making ganache as the chocolate overcomes one's senses....
I love any of the scenes in Chocolat where they are making or eating chocolatey goodness! Yum!
"When Harry Met Sally" Deli scene. best ever.
The dinner in Babette's Feast!
The cooking scenes in the movie "Tortilla Soup". They're amazing! From the music, to the colors to his cooking techniques...you can almost smell the food.
The whole Ratatouille movie!
For comedic purposes I love the scene from Animal House when they all get in the food fight. When the mashed potatoes fly out of Blutos mouth I can't help but crack up! Now if we are talking real delicious food I gotta give my vote to Chocolat. All that delicious chocolate...oh lord now I need to go make something with chocolate in it...haha.
The spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp is my all time favorite!

I love the scene in "The Bodyguard" where Kevin Costner is eating an orange and a guy comes in to his kitchen and starts a fight. Kevin kicks his butt, all the while still chewing and enjoying his orange.
I love the movie "Michael" with John Travolta and Andie McDowell when they're in the bar and she sings "Pie, pie, me-o-my, I love pie!" because I love pie too!
No contest- the entire movie of the original "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"- particularly when the German kid falls into the chocolate river.
My favorite is the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp :)
