Definitely the decorating. I'm so impatient with baking and cooling. I love to make beautiful desserts that people can enjoy. I always say, "the ugly cakes may be the best tasting ones, but no one wants to eat ugly!"
Since eating is not an option, I'll have to go with decorating. Its fun and the kids can get involved.
Decorating is my favorite part! I'm much better at that then baking. I tend to burn things. :)
I actually have not had to much opportunity to decorate so I guess I will say the baking for now.
Both are a very important part to a final piece, so it is a tough call, but my favorite part is the baking part. Knowing that is in the oven, working its way to be given its own touch and in return put smiles in everyone that eats it :)
I love the baking part of it. I enjoy adding stuff to the stand mixer and watching it all get mixed together. And I like to lick the spoon.

I LOVE the baking part...of course that could be because I'm a terrible decorator :) Seriously, my cake decorating class was for nothing.

Both are! Baking and decorating opens your mind and allows you to use your creativity and imagination. It's an art form. I love it all.
Ooh, that's hard. The decorating part is of course awesome, but honestly, I've bought that refrigerated dough for cookies and the decorating isn't as much fun when you don't put forth all the effort elsewhere. My daughter, on the other hand, is happy to let me bake and her decorate.
I'd have to say decorating. You can make whatever your making your own, and use your imagination. The possibilities are endless.
baking. I love creating something delicious. Once I get better (and neater!) at decorating, I may change my mind.

I love the measuring part of baking. I got a digital scale last year and it tickles me pink to zero it out and get precise measurements.
Definitely the decorating :)
I love the baking part! When I'm baking cookies or cakes, I'm so excited to make them and then when they come out of the oven I have no desire to decorate them! Haha!
Decorating is the most fun, next to eating ;)
