Baking is actually my favorite part. I love mixing ingredients and tasting along the way!
I love the decorating. And I am lucky enough to be apprenticing a great cake decorator, so hopefully I will love it even more as I get better. I love when something is practically to pretty to eat and then when you do it is fantastic and you are so happy you took a bite.

tough call, but I'd have to say baking - licking the spatula :)
Baking, purely for licking the bowl. Mmm, raw batter, it's the best!
Also, I was shopping in Bluebottle and was so excited to see your cute stuff!
Baking, definitely - such a zen experience for me.
the baking definetly has a meditation quality for me but the decorating is fun and flexible ...guess if I had to say one, decorating
I love to decorate - so satisfying to see the end result.
The baking is definitely my favorite part. Until it's time to decorate, and then it seems that it becomes my favorite. I guess I just love it all.
Very cute liners and boxes at BakeitPretty.com. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway!
Baking and decorating have held different places in my heart at different times in my life. As a kid, I loved baking even though I wasn't very good at it, thus I took immense joy in decorating.
Now, as I'm able to hone my baking skills, I find more joy in that. Yesterday, I had the satisfaction of not even looking how long I had the cupcakes in the oven as I could tell by touch if they were ready - how satisfying! It feels so good when you have baked a perfect cupcake, or cookie, for instance. And the process, while labour intensive, of sifting ingredients, etc. involves a lot of love and precision that will hopefully turn out to be a perfect piece.
Decorating is fun too and it's true, visuals are important. But for me, there is nothing more fantastic or fun than baking when you have the technical aspect down and have a wonderful flavor with the finest ingredients.
Oooh, definitely the baking for me! I am terrible at decorating! :-D
Decorating for sure. I really like squishy frosting.
Definitely decorating. The baking is fine, but I usually just end up crossing my fingers in hope nothing goes terribly wrong.
Most definitely the baking. I find it meditative and relaxing, while the decorating usually stresses me out. I like to call my desserts "rustic" to get out of the decorating :)
I love them both but I usually prefer to bake. It's so relaxing.

Baking - - while all the expectations are still so high!
This question is too hard. Let me log in twice and answer: BOTH.
Baking 'cause it smells so good!
I love the process of mixing by hand (I don't have a Kitchenaid mixer, but that's usually ok!) and watching raw ingredients bake into something warm, rich and pretty all at once. I take pride in presentation as well as taste, and I <3 Bake It Pretty!
Decorating!!
The baking aspect is always relaxing and a great time for thinking (just me and the ingredients), but the fun part of making a cake is the decorating! It's the reward for getting everything else done! :)
It's such a hard call! I feel like baking activates the logical, procedural part of your brain, and that decorating is good for the creative part. I think that's why the combination of baking and decorating is so appealing. It's exercise for every part of your brain!
It is a toughie! Mixing to baking is super-meditative and relaxing. But since decoration leads to presentation, which leads happy faces...Well I have to say decoration. The feeling of completing something and sharing that with others. Fun!
Definitely the decorating! So many fun tools and toys, and so much room for improvisation and fun...
until i get better at the decorating...it's the baking
decorating for sure! I'm not the best baker cause I can't seem to follow a recipe exactly! lol
