Decorating, although it's also the most frustrating part for me because it always takes longer than I want it to.
I love them both, but the inspiration of a new decorating idea, then seeing it through, is exhilarating.
I think it's the baking because of the anticipation...and licking the spoon! ;)
Oh I can't decide.....I guess I would have to say both!! I love to bake something spectacular and then top it off with some super decorations to catch the eye!!
I must say I love both, but the baking always brings back memories. As a child I used to watch my grandmother bake pies and cookies. I just ate the dough and licked the bowls ;-) But I didn't get it... How could she bake without measuring the ingredients? She told me she just 'felt' how it had to be done. Now my grandma has died, I notice the same thing with my children. They ask me: "mommy how do you know?" but I just 'feel' it. And now they can lick the bowls... ;-)
Baking is definitely more relaxing than decorating but I'd have to say my favorite part is the eating! Unless the decorating involves shopping on Bake it Pretty. Then that's my favorite.
i like to decorate cupcakes WAAAAY more than cakes. :)
they're such good complements--doing both means I get to use two very different parts of my brain.
if I had to pick, right this minute I'd say decorating, but I'd probably answer differently if you asked me again later today.
That's a tough call - it's so much fun to do both!
baking, definitely.
The decorating part is the best because I love being creative.
Definitely decorating. I bake only to decorate!
My mom doesn't let me bake cupcakes unless I'm giving them out as gifts because I bake so much and it's only because I love to decorate >_<
No question about it... decorating!
I love decorating!
My favorite actually is neither the baking or the decorating, but the planning... pondering which recipe to use, which flavors to mix and match, what frosting to pile on top.
But, if I had to choose from just the two, I'd go with decorating. There's just something about piping on all that frosting and standing back to see how beautiful it turns out!
For me its the baking. I like the rhythm of baking a cake. Measuring out everything first, the hum of the KA. And it get my mind thinking about something other than the 3 monkeys in the house. (Plus Im not much of a decorator.)
Baking! There is so much more room for improvisation and covering up mistakes in that stage. *g*
I'll say baking, but really it's enjoying the finished product!
The baking because I like to taste what I have baked...which means I never even get around to the decorating.
Tasting the batter is what I live for. The frosting and decorating I may just do with out.
I love the decorating part!

Baking! There's something so zen about it! I'm a spaz when it comes to decorating and kind of stress out!
Decorating is the best part for sure! It adds that essential final touch to the baked goods. :)
Definately the decorating! The baking is such a pain!
Definitely the decorating! That's when you make a plain cake pretty :)
