CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a $100 Gift Card For CSN Stores!
We have Corelle to thank for this giveaway, friends.
Yup--you saw that dishware text link. For that, CSN Stores has kindly offered something that is of much interest to cake lovers and bakers: a $100 gift card good to be redeemed at any of their online stores! After reviewing the products available at their Cookware.com website, I find it worth the link, as all sorts of products of interest to bakers and baked-good enthusiasts are available there, including cake pans, cake plates, pastry molds, and my favorite Emile Henry Pie plates!
Want to be entered in the running? OK! Here's what you do: simply leave a comment on this post stating your opinion on this important baked-good subject: if you had to choose your "last meal" dessert, what would it be?
Chocolate cream pie? A banana split? Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches? An entire birthday cake? Inquiring minds need to know! This giveaway will close and a winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PST next Friday, August 6. Entrants only in the US and Canada this time, please!
UPDATE: THE WINNER!
The randomly chosen winner is MEG, who says that "My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world." Well chosen, Meg! Congratulations!

A brownie Sundae with vanilla Ice-cream, hot-fudge, whipped cream, and salted almonds
Ice cream cake!
How can I choose just one? My mother's Butterball cookies with a glass of ice cold whole milk or Double Chocolate Brownies topped with Double Chocolate Ice Cream and Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce. Hmm, I think I would go with the last one.
Oh, man. This is so hard. It owuld have to be the chocolatiest and fluffiest chocolate cake ever.
Wow, that's a tough question. There are so many delicious desserts! I think I'd have to go with cheesecake with peanut butter cups and fudge as topping. Yum!
Cheesecake, NY style, the way my mom makes it...
Carrot cake (with raisins, but NO NUTS) with cinnamon-spiced cream cheese frosting. Ooooohhhhhh yeah.
Chocolate bread pudding, no doubt about it!
If it were really my last meal dessert and calories didn't count...I would have a big slice of my favorite chocolate peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache and maybe a side of ice cream :-) Don't judge.
Definitely creme brulee!
The chocolate peanut butter cake from Sky High Cakes. That book is amazing, but that cake in particular is off the hook!
Man oh man, I think I would have to choose...fancy schmancy eclairs. I had them for the first time 2 years ago, and I could not believe the magic happening in my mouth! I heart eclairs. A lot.
if you had to choose my "last meal" dessert, it would be tea cakes. They remind me of my grandmother and the time we shared together. She loved to bake, and would always have tea cakes for me when I would visit her as a child.
gluten free whoopie cakes with whipped marshmallow cream...
Probably a good brownie sundae.
Last dessert: a combination brownie and chocolate chip sundae with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. OR my mom's apple cake. Mmmm!
Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee!
PINK CAKE.
Creme Brulee!!!
CANNOLI!
Would have to be a HUGE plate of my mom's whoopie pies (well, they were called devil dogs where she came from).
it would have to be ice cream or gelato plain and simple. while crazy desserts taste amazing, ice cream is basically what most people were raised on, and I would have to have it that one last time.
White wedding cake. Plain old white with buttercream icing. MMMMM...
I would have to say Baklava -- don't have it often, but I love it!
Molten chocolate lava cakes with coffee ice cream. Yum.
