CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a $100 Gift Card For CSN Stores!
We have Corelle to thank for this giveaway, friends.
Yup--you saw that dishware text link. For that, CSN Stores has kindly offered something that is of much interest to cake lovers and bakers: a $100 gift card good to be redeemed at any of their online stores! After reviewing the products available at their Cookware.com website, I find it worth the link, as all sorts of products of interest to bakers and baked-good enthusiasts are available there, including cake pans, cake plates, pastry molds, and my favorite Emile Henry Pie plates!
Want to be entered in the running? OK! Here's what you do: simply leave a comment on this post stating your opinion on this important baked-good subject: if you had to choose your "last meal" dessert, what would it be?
Chocolate cream pie? A banana split? Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches? An entire birthday cake? Inquiring minds need to know! This giveaway will close and a winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PST next Friday, August 6. Entrants only in the US and Canada this time, please!
UPDATE: THE WINNER!
The randomly chosen winner is MEG, who says that "My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world." Well chosen, Meg! Congratulations!

I would die happy if I could have a generous slice of the banana cream pie my mom used to make. (By generous slice, I mean the whole pie. If it's my last meal, I can afford to be a glutton.)
asian cheesecake! so moist and fluffy it just melts in your mouth. nommm....
chocolate molten cake with coffee ice cream!
thanks for including me in this fab giveaway!
I think my last dessert would be a chocolate brownie trifle.
Some sort of bread pudding. Its the most comforting dessert to me.
Chocolate Truffle Loaf with fresh raspberry sauce. If you are a lover of well made truffles, like Godiva truffles, you will love this dessert. It's elegant, easy to make and melts in your mouth.
A chocolate chip cheesecake from a Chicago-based company called Eli's. It's the taste of childhood happiness for me, and alas, although they ship nationwide, I've yet to see it in a store outside the midwest.
Oh man. Definitely 10 Lbs. of Chocolate - it's a cake from a bar/coffee shop in downtown Fayetteville, AR...Common Grounds. I always get it warmed up with ice cream...It's basically a giant mess of chocolate, and I would eat it by myself. Like the pig I am. Yum.
I really like a classic layer cake...probably German chocolate
butterscotch blondies with caramel frosting
chocolate mousse
An ice cream sandwich with homemade chocolate chip cookies and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Though, monkey bread (not the boxed kind) is a close second....
good old fashioned apple pie a la mode!!!
Honestly, I'd rather make a dessert for someone, but either way, it would be cupcakes...probably sweet vanilla cupcakes with seven-minute frosting, tinted any shade of blue!
hmmm. . . . .ice cream sandwich cake! can you say yum?!?!
Creme Brulee.... It is my favorite dessert...so decedant and yummy, creamy with sugary crispness on top!
My last dessert would be a warm pie with ice cream- preferably cherry or berry pie with vanilla bean ice cream. (Home made crust please!)
My last dessert would probably beeee....a Tiramisu. I Loveeee tiramisu. Or maybe some red velvet cake....idk. either one is awesome.
I would say a really well made Tres Leche cake!
Junior's Strawberry Cheese Pie:)
My own coconut cream pie. Dear God it's some kind of wonderful.
It's funny that you have this as your topic...my brother just passed away and we were talking about what our last request meal would be - I could only come up with a dessert! My chocolate guiness stout cake with Jameson ganache filling and bailey's irish cream cheese frosting!!! I could eat the whole cake all by myself and die with a smile on my face - and probably a bellyache!!!
If I have a usa mailing address is that okay???
In case it is-I would have a tiramisu.
My mama made the best german chocolate cake with coconut pecan frosting, and I would want that and an icy cold glass of skim milk to be my last dessert.
cheesecake w/ berry sauce
