CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a $100 Gift Card For CSN Stores!
We have Corelle to thank for this giveaway, friends.
Yup--you saw that dishware text link. For that, CSN Stores has kindly offered something that is of much interest to cake lovers and bakers: a $100 gift card good to be redeemed at any of their online stores! After reviewing the products available at their Cookware.com website, I find it worth the link, as all sorts of products of interest to bakers and baked-good enthusiasts are available there, including cake pans, cake plates, pastry molds, and my favorite Emile Henry Pie plates!
Want to be entered in the running? OK! Here's what you do: simply leave a comment on this post stating your opinion on this important baked-good subject: if you had to choose your "last meal" dessert, what would it be?
Chocolate cream pie? A banana split? Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches? An entire birthday cake? Inquiring minds need to know! This giveaway will close and a winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PST next Friday, August 6. Entrants only in the US and Canada this time, please!
UPDATE: THE WINNER!
The randomly chosen winner is MEG, who says that "My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world." Well chosen, Meg! Congratulations!

A black forest torte. Chocolate & cherries - yummy!
warm chewy brownies. my mom's recipe.
ice cream cake. Ice cream and cake mix together perfectly!!
For me it would have to be really good bread pudding! There's nothing better than that!!
Any dessert made by my MOM! She was the best cook ever! I miss you MA!
A chocolate mousse cake made with good dark chocolate and some hazel nuts worked in somehow.
Chocolate cake with chocolate icing...or GOOD white icing. The crunchy stuff. None of this whipped cream nonsense.
And I would eat the whole thing myself!
oreo dirt cake!! love it :)
Once I had this...I dunno what it was...like a warm, light chocolate souffle with warm sweet chocolate sauce gushing out. Earth-shattering is how I'd describe it. I'd take that with a nice, light and fluffy, chilled vanilla bean whipped cream on top (where the cream kinda melts into it a little.)
My "last meal" dessert would have to be Bananas Foster
Chocolate Cake with Chocolate frosting -- and not even homemade, but the one from Costco -forever my favorite
My last meal dessert would be Death by Chocolate!
Any one of my grandmothers desserts!
Specifically her whoopie pie recipe or her pecan pie! She used to own a pastry shop so you know it is good!!
Key lime pie.
Hmm....what a question! Something with deliciously smooth peanut butter included!
I'd need a piece of Death By Chocolate Cake from The Trellis Restaurant. Actually I think I need a piece of that now and I'm not anywhere near death (I hope).
I'd have to say fresh blueberry pie, sweet not tart, with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
chocolate cheesecake.......drizzled with chocolate.
tiramisu!
I'm thinking tiramisu!
My last meal would be german chocolate cake.
Cheesecake with fudge and caramel topping.
german chocolate cake!
It would be an impulse choice between chocolate chess pie, italian creme cake, and lemon bars....
