It's flexibility. Cake is good for birthdays and weddings, office parties and rainy days. There is no occaision or NON occaision that cake is not good for. Yay for cake.
Best thing? It looks good, tastes good and is about the best thing to slide down my throat delivering me into near nirvana. The texture sends me into ecstasy and the just-right sweet taste makes me want more.

The best thing about cake is how happy it can make people. I love making a cake for someone and bringing a smile to their face. :)....but the taste is not bad either!
The best thing about cake is the way it tastes when it's fresh and eating crumbs that you brush away when you make layers and licking extra frosting off the knife.

I love everything about cake! Impossible to list it all....so I will go with--->the amazing yummy deliciousesness (lol) that moist melt in your mouth cake stay away from it wanna eat it all and come back for more yummy piece of cake. I love to decorate the cake too :)
Cakes are shape and taste shifters. They can be light or dense, dry or moist, small or huge, round or rectangular, sweet or savory, layered or sheet, frosting or none....

The best thing about cake is that it is almost always associated with happiness. We eat cake when we are happy and we eat cake when we want to be happy (although perhaps we shouldn't). Then of course there's the frosting which I could eat alone to be honest. :)

The best thing about cake is that it is decadent indulgence. It is cheap to make (relatively), feeds many (if you care to share it) and hits all the right receptors in the brain for comfort, happiness and a lovely sugar high. Besides, it's the perfect delivery vehicle for frosting!!!
The best thing about cake is the creativity it allows me. Other than the basic chemistry of what makes a cake rise and such, I can be as creative as my little heart desires... and that makes me happy.

the best thing about cake is that it knows no bounds in taste and flavors. cakes are limited only to your imagination. also, it is a treat that knows no income boundaries. everyone can afford to make a cake. :)

Cake is amazing! It is art, comfort, celebration, consolation. It engages all of your senses. The look on your childs face when he gets to dig in to his first birthday cake, the smell of cake baking in the oven, the taste of that first bite as husband and wife, the sound of ooohs and aaahh's when a client takes their first taste of your creation, the satisfaction of creating a work of art with your own two hands. I can't think of a better profession I could have chosen in my life. Cake is AMAZING!
