Sweet Art: Fleeting for Illustration Friday

This week's theme for Illustration Friday is Fleeting, and this painting of Cuppies strolling alongside a sweet sunset against a city skyline seemed like an apt interpretation--a perfect reminder that while some things can be fleeting--say, a lovely sunset or the taste of cake--the sweet memories will remain.

The cuppies are adorable, but I think it's the beautiful sunset that really makes this picture!
It occurred to me: how do Cuppies walk?? Then I thought, they glide along like deliciously edible no-sludge slugs made of flour, eggs, butter, sugar... yep, that's my thought process.
Hmm..Seatle..rain...cupcakes? not a good combo...but don't worry I will eat them anyway!
