Hmm, so hard to pick just one thing. I love that if you eat cake in little tiny slivers while standing up in the kitchen, it has no calories. Wait, that is true, right??? :)
The best thing about cake is there are SO many kinds you can bake. They bring back so many memories. The Chai Cardamom cupcake you mentioned has inspired me to work on my own version.
It's ability to make people so happy. The gift of cake is a powerful one.

The best thing about cake is obviously cake fights. We found cake everywhere for weeks. In the toaster, in the microwave, in people's nostrils... Am I gross?
The best thing about cake is how versitle it is. It can be elegant or cutsie, it can be dense or it can be light and fluffy, it can go with ice cream or fruit, etc... No matter what, it is always tasty! YUMMMMM!
