1I know it’s not the accepted answer but I don’t really like bacon. On the other hand, you can’t really go wrong with sweet and salty together, so…I say still in vogue for the general (non-veggie) population, just not for me.

2Nay. Who needs it? If you can’t bake a cake from scratch (and it’s easier than you think it is, so you probably can) it’s pretty easy to doctor up a regular cake mix. Heck, there’s whole books devoted to it. And who wants to pay $7 for a box mix when you can get a cupcake for about $3?

3. Salt+sweet=happy. Can’t go wrong with salted caramel. Totally sweet.

4. There is always room for a cupcake so logic follows that there is always room for more cupcake shops IF they are smart enough to make good fresh cake and roll with the changes, adding flavors or offerings as tastes change. Because, let’s face it, a bad cupcake (and there is such a thing) will always be a bad cupcake.

5. Er…haven’t tried one yet. I am gonna say delicate delight, at least the sight of them is a delicate delight. I’ll have to get back to you on flavor.

6. Oooh, I am not a patient girl. Imperfect cookies can be good too! No waiting for me unless absolutely necessary.

7. Not for me. I say yuck.

8. I think you could be right here, but I might also add in the possibility that sables will sudden be everywhere…even though they have been right there for years (it’s the name that makes them intriguing.)

And just want to add, I have a card case from 11:11 that I love. They make good stuff so if you don’t win (because I WANT TO WIN) check them out (and I’m not affiliated with them, I just like the card case I have).

6. Chilling dough for perfect cookies: is it worth the wait? I don't know...I've never been that patient.
7. Savory cupcakes (for instance, meat loaf cupcake with mashed potato frosting): yum

1. So over.
2. Nay!
3. Totally sweet!
3. Enough is enough! It's quality - not quantity. There are too many overrated cupcake shops around.
4. Delicate delight!
5. Usually. Right now I have some chocolate chip cookie dough chilling that I know will be much better having been chilled.
6. Yum!
7. No, I don't think so.

Oh....fingers are crossed!!!

Here goes:
Bacon in baked goods: so good or so over? Over

"Designer" cake and baking mixes (for instance, those made by celebrity chefs or famous bakeries)--yay or nay? Nay...a little pricey for a mix.

Salted caramel: totally sweet or way too...salty? Oh yeah, babe!

Cupcake shops opening everywhere: enough is enough, or room for more? Can there be too many cupcakes? And, there's not one near us!

French macarons: delicate delight, or way overhyped? I'd say delight, but I've NEVER eaten one...whaaa!!!

Chilling dough for perfect cookies: is it worth the wait? worth it!

Savory cupcakes (for instance, meat loaf cupcake with mashed potato frosting): yum or yuck? ewwww!

Whoopie pies as the next big thing: do you agree? Next big thing! I'm already looking forward to making pumpkin ones in the fall. :)

# Salted caramel: totally sweet or way too...salty? Sweet! I love salted caramel!
# Cupcake shops opening everywhere: enough is enough, or room for more? Enough is enough. It was cute for a while but I get tired of paying 3 bucks for a cupcake I could make better myself!

# Savory cupcakes (for instance, meat loaf cupcake with mashed potato frosting): yum or yuck? Yuck

"Designer" cake and baking mixes (for instance, those made by celebrity chefs or famous bakeries)--yay or nay? Meh, I've never been a mix kinda girl...

Salted caramel: totally sweet or way too...salty? I've never had it, but I love the interplay between the two flavors.

Cupcake shops opening everywhere: enough is enough, or room for more?
There is no such thing as too many cupcakes.

.
# Salted caramel: totally sweet or way too...salty? Totally Sweet!

# Cupcake shops opening everywhere: enough is enough, or room for more? Room for more, in my town at least, the only bakery we have is literally not as good as a supermarket bakery, but since it's a tourist town the place has survived on one visit people for like 80 years...

# French macarons: delicate delight, or way overhyped? Delicate Delight!

# Chilling dough for perfect cookies: is it worth the wait? Totally worth the wait, I always chill my dough and I always freeze my cakes before frosting, I find it gives them a better crumb...
