I like decorating...but everything comes second to the eating.
I love the baking, but truly, the best part is the eating!!
Making receipes and then baking, I don't like the frosting part so much. But I like eating!!
I love baking. Don't know what it is about it, maybe just the licking the spoon part. But I'm getting way more involved in the decorating part and finding it more and more fun.
I really love the decorating. Though the baking does have it'd perks, its the decorations that do it for me. I'm in pastry school right now and though I haven't officially started any of the baking and pastry classes (those don't start until December), I've been doing a few workshops and experimenting on my own with my new pastry kit. I just love playing with things; seeing what I can make a particular tool or ingredient do. I love finding weird ways to use something. The creativity that goes into the whole decorating process just brings out the best of me and can always put a smile on my face.

Most definitely the DECORATING! The feeling I get when I see a beautiful cupcake or cake is a feeling of complete joy and amazement. I think how can that treasure be edible? Creating things that can do that for people is truly fulfilling!

Baking! I love the way the whole place smells. There's nothing like the aroma of freshly baked cupcakes travelling from the kitchen to the whole house. Besides, baking leads to decorating. =D How can you not love that?!

Baking is my favorite! I find it meditative!
Well, baking the cake is more fun for me -- because I let my husband and son decorate the cakes in our house!
I live for decorating! I would decorate cardboard cakes if I had to...
I would have to go with decorating. I'm not the best baker (I try but never get it quite right). I decorate my kids' cakes for their birthdays and there is nothing like seeing their faces light up when they see their customized cake creation!

For the giveaway I'll say decorating, but my favorite part is the planning or just thinking "Oh, I'll make a cake for that event. Hmm, what kind? What will it look like? I could do this, or that..." That is what I like best, the anticipation. :)
The baking!
The best part is probably the baking- I like measuring the ingredients and sifting flour. Eating the cake is pretty great too.
I just recently started to bake more. I've done cookies and basic cakes growing up, but I now am wanting to bake more and more. I would love to do it as a profession actually, but I have to perfect it first! I am just starting to get into the fun of decorating and enjoying that part most of all. I want to learn how to make all those cool looking baked goods - fancy cakes and cupcakes, cookies that look too pretty to eat - all the decorating that looks impossible, I want to learn how to do it!
