Decorating is the most fun! While baking, so many things can go wrong...I thought I had lost my mind and threw out 2 batches of muffins last week before I realized how old the baking powder was! Once the goods are baked, no amount of messy icing can ruin it; even if it's ugly in the end, it'll still be tasty!

I wish I was better at decorating, that's why baking is my favorite! :)

The baking Uhhhhh.. I love to measure, chop, scoop, roll, crimp, carmelize & all that jazz. And ohhh the smell and satisfaction of a job well done. I need those beautiful polka dotted cupcake liners!!!!!

The baking for sure.

The decorating part I'm not so good at, so the baking part is more fun for me :]

I couldn't possibly choose! I love baking for the yummy fragrance and licking the bowl. But I love decorating because icing is the best part and for the creativity involved!

I love the decorating! not so good at it yet but I love trying

I think they are equal in importance and fun. I love to make pretty things, and take pride in the finished product. Some items get their "decorations" before they are baked, it's just all part of the process I love.

Baking, definitely! I love to decorate, but I want it to be too perfect and never am happy with the results and get myself stressed out at the end, lol!

The baking part is therapeutic though :)

A hard question. It depends on the mood I'm in, and right now I'd say decorating. What a fun giveaway!

The baking. There's nothing better than saying, "Maybe a teaspoon of orange zest would pep this up a little," or "What if I used green tea powder here?" and then turning out a fabulous dessert.

Crossing my fingers!

i'd say baking! I'm not too great at decorating.

definitely the baking part -- i'm not great at decorating -- but love all aspects of baking, especially the batter tasting part.

I used to love the baking part but now I've really gotten interested in the whole presentation part!

October 13 | Unregistered Commenternicole

Gotta love the decorating.

Decorating! Though, I do tend to get frustrated when I can't replicate the image in my head onto my cake, or cupcakes. But it's fun to try different things :)

Decorating! It makes me so happy to think of the smiles the decorated cupcakes will bring to people's faces.

Decorating does it for me! Making pretty icing, picking out the cake toppers... Brilliant!

love these polka dot liners! Decorating is definitely the best part. Ü

I'd say the baking is my favorite part, because I need to be very methodical and really be all-in to the process. But seeing the finished product and how great it looks is awesome, too!

I guess it depends on what I'm making and how much time I have. I love baking and I also love decorating. My problem is that I usually don't have a lot of time to decorate things as elaborately as I would like; the perfectionist in me hates the rush and so I usually end up going with something basic.

Awesome blog!
Hmm, thats a toughie. I love both aspects so much.

Thinking about it though...
I think I like decorating more! It's awesome to make something different from the next person even if you're using the same recipe. And it's just so dark fun!

Definitely the decorating!
