Oh baking, hands down. I'm a big fan of licking the spoon (and the bowl). :)

Yay it's not on my blog so I can enter! I prefer to bake, I'm too lazy to decorate.

Hard to decide but I think decorates takes a slim lead for me.!

October 12 | Unregistered CommenterAnita

Uuhhhhh....DECORATING of course!

October 12 | Unregistered CommenterCake Believe

I'm definitely for baking... :-)

I love the baking, learned the true art of baking from my grandmother, and I am now passing it on to my grandkids.

Science has mystified and bored me ever since high school chemistry with teacher whose father wrote his lesson plans.

On to the food! Baking taught me to love science. Understanding how chemical reactions can lead to the perfect fudge or an airier cake keeps me tinkering. Mixing and kneading keeps me zen. And decorating lets me practice my love for aestheticism and royal frosting octopuses. But in the end, i am a taste fan and a science girl, baking wins.

Decorating, of course. AND licking the bowl :)

I love all of it - making is what floats my boat.

I love to Bake!! I like to get inventive with baking the actual dish rather than decorating it later. Like using parchment paper for cupcakes rather than a cupcake liner, experimenting with ingredients to try and get a new version of something, and making little additions like jam in the center of a cupcake that does not call for jam :D
Definitely Baking!

I much prefer decorating. Maybe I'm just not a fun baker! But I would be more fun if I won....!

I'd have to say baking! I love using my black Kitchen Aid stand mixer... and I love to put my mouth and my hand in food! haha

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterVéronika

Well, if I can't say eating then I would have to say baking. I love the process and the element of surprise!

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterSarah

Definitely spreading the frosting. Its very zen.

I think decorating is the mosy fun. I love making things cute, but nothing beats the best part.... Eating the baked good!

My goodness this is the cutest blog ever!! I have to share this with my friends!!

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterMiss Paula

I love the taste testing. But I also love the decorating.

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterAngela

I would have to say decorating because there are so many fun things you can do and it's so much fun to see the excitement on someone's face when they see their special cake!

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterHolly

I like the baking part, but really, my favorite part is presenting the item to others.

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterLeslie

DECORATING is the best part because it's the first impression people see! It'll taste better if it looks good ;)

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterNE

the baking!

DECORATING!

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterElisa

The baking part is the most fun. It makes the house smell so good and filled with anticipation!

October 13 | Unregistered CommenterCharity

Yes, decorated cakes are fun. But for me, I like the mixing!!! (So, I guess my vote is for the entire baking process.) Decorating is a little too fidgety for me, mixing is a big mess, plopping and stirring and testing! I'm a minimalist decorator, powdered sugar, or just s simple coat of buttercream swirled on with a butterknife works well enough.

baking - cause there is nothing better than raw batter ;)
