Cake Poll: Fall Treats!

Sure, the days are getting shorter and cooler, but they're also getting sweeter. Halloween is just around the corner, a sweet kickoff to what promises to be a fall and winter full of pies, puddings and wonderful holiday treats.
And in celebration of all of this sweetness, this month's Cake Poll focuses on fall treats! The lucky winner will receive an original Cakespy watercolor depicting L'il Cuppie being chased by ghosts (pictured top)--looks like they didn't want to share their candy!

The fine print: The poll will be closed at 12 p.m PST on Friday, October 17. As usual, the winner will be chosen at random. Entries from the US and beyond are welcome. Your info will never be shared and these questions are solely motivated by our nosy spy tendencies.
....and we have a winner! Our winner was JEAN from New Jersey! Jean entered in our comments section and most definitely prefers Candy Corn! While Mellowcreme Pumpkin may not approve, we were more than happy to see the piece of artwork go to such a sweet home!

happy, but what people seem to forget about them is that they feel better eating the smaller candy bars, so they eat like 4 minis, which is probably the equivolent to 2 regular sized ones.

1. I'm not a big fan of candy corn (I just love the way it looks), so I'll go with the mellowcreme pumpkins. I'm a depraved human being that has never tried them.
2. Fun-size candy is perfect. You can try as many different ones as your conscience will allow :)
3. No way, no costume no candy...unless they're little and cute :)
4. I actually end up sharing mine, so I would go into the "make it last" category.

1.) Candy Corn, hands down. Those marshmellow things aren't tasty :(
2.) Happy! If you don't eat that type of thing too often, a small serving goes a long way (but not on your tummy!)
3.) Definitely give them candy! Unless they're adults who haven't grown up yet...little kids always get the candy :)
4.) Ration!! When I was little, I used to have candy so long that my mom would have to toss it...

Sort out the good bits to eat first, then ration. I have been known to make the halloween candy last until the Christmas treats start coming in.
