Buy My Book! And a Giveaway Too

Dudes and dudettes. You knew this day was coming, and now it is here.

My book is now out--it is in stores, and available online. If I do say so myself, it is a masterpiece of cookbookery, and if you don't trust me, then trust my mom, because she agrees (and she has promised to buy at least three copies at full retail price, although she hasn't paid me yet).

But I digress. Basically what I am saying here is: My book is out, and therefore, It Is Time for You to Buy My Book.

How to buy it? You can purchase a signed copy directly from me here; you can purchase a regular (unsigned) copy from Amazon (be sure to give it a glowing review!) , Barnes and Noble, Elliott Bay Books, Powell's Books, or find a local bookseller here. OR, I find it acceptable to wait if you'd like to buy one from me on my national bakery book tour, Tour De Sweet!

But because you've been so patient, I'm willing to give away one copy of the book per week for the next four weeks. Wow, lucky you!

How do you put yourself in the running this week? Since it's October and officially Halloween Month, simply leave a comment on this post or on my Facebook page answering this important question: Candy Corn or Mellowcreme Pumpkins? And Why? I'll pick one lucky winner one week from today (10/13) and send them a signed copy of the book! Because I'm feeling generous, this giveaway is open to the US and abroad!

Congratulations on your book! Candy corn, always, because you can't replicate that waxy flavor anywhere else. Classic.

I LOVE cakes and I love cakespy (I avidly follow the blog). I can't wait to get my hands on the book, if only because I dig unicorns (I have a necklace). Congrats!!

candy corn! I don't know what a mellowcreme pumpkin is -- so by default? but seriously, fall isn't fall without candy corn!

PS I've never had candy corn or mellowcreme pumpkins (England doesn't have those things). They sound tasty though! :)

Mellowcreme Pumpkins please...
they look so cute that I can't help eating them all up! :)

Going to have to go with the classic candy corn because when I combine it with peanuts, it reminds me of a salted nut roll which I love!

Whoo-hoo! Congrats on the book! Can't wait to read it and try out some wonderfully delicious Cakespy treats.

I know they're pretty much the same thing, but I've never been fond of mellowcreme pumpkins and LOVE candy corn. It's probably a nostalgia thing from the days when I used to eat candy corn one layer at a time to make it last longer.

Candy corn (not even sure what the other is, but I love candy corn, so that's that)

I actually already own the book (and love it and will write a review), so I don't think I need another one (or do I?!?!). True story: My hubby is a diabetic, so I sometimes hide things he shouldn't have. The other day I found myself hiding my Sweet Treats for a Sugar-Filled Life book from him, just in case the sugery goodness ooooozed out at him (it's THAT good!).
Pumpkins! You have to bite off the green part first, though, and then eat the orange in one big bite. The problem is they only are sold in a value bag. I don't care how many months I eat them for, you can NEVER finish the value bag. It's like they reproduce in there...

Candy corn!! :)

Candy Corn. It's just so nostalgic, and if you try really hard, each color has a slightly different flavor (the white tips are my favorite!)

Congratulations on your new book! It looks very very sweet and cute!!!
I'll go for candy corn. It's such a happy flavor! :)

Our grocery store sells a combo bag so I never have to choose! AND when I eat both corn and pumpkin that counts as TWO servings of veggies :)

We don't have neither of them here in Israel, but I always wanted to taste candy corn! They look cute and yummy!

I'd have to go with Mellowcreme Pumpkins. They just feel so festive since they are shaped like pumpkins! :) Congrats on the book!

candy corn! i wait all year for them to be all festively displayed in the stores. and then i hoard it.

Ohmygosh. Mellocreme Pumpkins, NO CONTEST. Mostly because it's like eating three sugar-packed pieces of candy corn at once. But I like that you can bite 'em! Or pop five in your mouth at once and go into a sugar coma...
Ooh, punkins ;) Can't wait to see your book!!! Congrats!
CANDY CORN!

Ooooh, that's a toughy! I might have to lean towards the pumpkins though since they're bigger, so more goodness in one bite! And they're just super cute!
Mallow-creme pumpkins! So yummy!

Candy corn! Mellowcreme feels all wrong and candy corn is (in moderation) the right amount of sweet!

I lovelovelove Mellowcreeme pumpkins. Best Halloween-time candy ever!
