Buy My Book! And a Giveaway Too

Dudes and dudettes. You knew this day was coming, and now it is here.

My book is now out--it is in stores, and available online. If I do say so myself, it is a masterpiece of cookbookery, and if you don't trust me, then trust my mom, because she agrees (and she has promised to buy at least three copies at full retail price, although she hasn't paid me yet).

But I digress. Basically what I am saying here is: My book is out, and therefore, It Is Time for You to Buy My Book.

How to buy it? You can purchase a signed copy directly from me here; you can purchase a regular (unsigned) copy from Amazon (be sure to give it a glowing review!) , Barnes and Noble, Elliott Bay Books, Powell's Books, or find a local bookseller here. OR, I find it acceptable to wait if you'd like to buy one from me on my national bakery book tour, Tour De Sweet!

But because you've been so patient, I'm willing to give away one copy of the book per week for the next four weeks. Wow, lucky you!

How do you put yourself in the running this week? Since it's October and officially Halloween Month, simply leave a comment on this post or on my Facebook page answering this important question: Candy Corn or Mellowcreme Pumpkins? And Why? I'll pick one lucky winner one week from today (10/13) and send them a signed copy of the book! Because I'm feeling generous, this giveaway is open to the US and abroad!

Definitely candy corn. I love the taste of them and they remind me of my youth.

I always thought they were basically the same...I like the texture of candy corn. It's a bit addicting!

Candy corn because I am old and Halloween has always been the candy corn season! Don't argue with old teachers...right Jess???

MELLOW CREME PUMPKIN most definitely!!

(I always cheer for the under dog!!). Besides, they are terribly cute! So much cuter than the candy corn (no offense, candy corn, you are special in your own way!)

Pumpkin Mellocreme's are my all time faves. I love the way they taste and because I'm slightly OCD, I have to eat the green tops off before I can eat the orange pumpkin. My Mother would always buy them for Halloween. They were her faves too.

Mellow-creme pumpkins, absolutely! My mom and I used to buy them in bulk, eating handfuls. Great, creamy, honey goodness! YUM!

Mellowcreme pumpkins. Candycorn is gross. And I know that there isn't much of a difference, but really, there's all the difference in the world.

Mellowcreme pumpkins all the way!

Mellowcreme pumpkins - they're simply cuter!

Candy corn because they are just too cute and it's fun to try to eat them by biting off each little color section!

it's gotta be the Mellowcreeme pumpkins because they're just a bit softer/creamier on the inside vs. candy corn, plus they're cute, and they look super awesome ontop of cupcakes so then you have the best excuse to make cupcakes for Halloween (I like making chocolates cupcakes and then putting green icing on like grass...) and then jam a bunch of the Mellowcreeme pumpkins on top (artfully placed is better if you have patience) to then devour....and maybe share!

I'm seriously addicted to candy corn. I start fighting it from the minute the candy corn appears in the stores. I allow myself one bag a year, but until I get it, that's all I can think about!
