CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a $100 Gift Card For CSN Stores!

We have Corelle to thank for this giveaway, friends.

Yup--you saw that dishware text link. For that, CSN Stores has kindly offered something that is of much interest to cake lovers and bakers: a $100 gift card good to be redeemed at any of their online stores! After reviewing the products available at their Cookware.com website, I find it worth the link, as all sorts of products of interest to bakers and baked-good enthusiasts are available there, including cake pans, cake plates, pastry molds, and my favorite Emile Henry Pie plates!

Want to be entered in the running? OK! Here's what you do: simply leave a comment on this post stating your opinion on this important baked-good subject: if you had to choose your "last meal" dessert, what would it be?

Chocolate cream pie? A banana split? Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches? An entire birthday cake? Inquiring minds need to know! This giveaway will close and a winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PST next Friday, August 6. Entrants only in the US and Canada this time, please!

UPDATE: THE WINNER!

The randomly chosen winner is MEG, who says that "My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world." Well chosen, Meg! Congratulations!

A Ben and Jerry's Vermonster Sundae. It's so huge it would take me days to eat it, so my last day would be really, really long. :)

So fun to read everyone's answers! My last desert would have to be homemade apple pie a la mode, uhhhhhhhhhh!

It's difficult to choose just 1, but I guess I'd have to say Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream.

On my deathbed you could put a piece of italian cream cake beside me and I would get it until my last breath!

The birthday cake I've enjoyed for years: White cake with broiled coconut and brown sugar frosting. YUM! Put a fork in me. I'm done!

My last dessert would either be a huge bowl of rocky road ice cream or my grandma's chocolate chip cookies. :)

August 4 | Unregistered CommenterPink Martini

Would have to be a brownie sundae....a warm chewy, gooey brownie with a nice cold vanilla bean ice cream on top!

August 4 | Unregistered Commenterkel mcnichol

My last dessert... It would be something along the lines of the most perfectly chilled chocolate chip cheesecake with oreo/graham cracker crust, topped with a sweet mix of white chocolate and dark chocolate ganache, and a heart made of Frerro Rocher in the middle of it. With a scoop of coconut ice cream of course :) Only because I was the only one making desserts in my kitchen, even as a kid. So, I would want something a little spectacular as a final dessert :)

Heck. it's my LAST dessert! I want to it be as creative and deliciously chocolatey as possible. <33

I would go for a warmed up molten chocolate lava cake, topped with a scoop of premium organic vanilla ice cream with vanilla seed flecks... Garnished with the freshest, sweetest ripe strawberries and raspberries.. Ah, heaven on earth in a bite!

A great, big slice of Mud pie, big enough to satisfy me, but small enough to keep me from getting sick of it. All the fixins. Chocolatey, coffee-y, bourbony, pecan-y goodness. Served with a glass of ice cold milk, and then a cup of earl grey to wash everything down.

I'd choose the unrefined, un-elegant McDonalds Strawberry Sundae. Is that so wrong? Lol
