CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a $100 Gift Card For CSN Stores!
We have Corelle to thank for this giveaway, friends.
Yup--you saw that dishware text link. For that, CSN Stores has kindly offered something that is of much interest to cake lovers and bakers: a $100 gift card good to be redeemed at any of their online stores! After reviewing the products available at their Cookware.com website, I find it worth the link, as all sorts of products of interest to bakers and baked-good enthusiasts are available there, including cake pans, cake plates, pastry molds, and my favorite Emile Henry Pie plates!
Want to be entered in the running? OK! Here's what you do: simply leave a comment on this post stating your opinion on this important baked-good subject: if you had to choose your "last meal" dessert, what would it be?
Chocolate cream pie? A banana split? Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches? An entire birthday cake? Inquiring minds need to know! This giveaway will close and a winner will be announced at 12 p.m. PST next Friday, August 6. Entrants only in the US and Canada this time, please!
UPDATE: THE WINNER!
The randomly chosen winner is MEG, who says that "My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world." Well chosen, Meg! Congratulations!

A giant homemade oreo. Heavens it's so good.
Death by Chocolate ice cream -- no question. Yum!
Peanut Butter Pie preferably from my Aunt Karen or the Colophon Cafe in Bellingham, WA.
My last meal dessert would be a pie. peach, strawberry and rhubarb pie with a little "good luck in the after life" carved in the top crust.
Coconut cream pie!
molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream!
shortbread. http://smittenkitchen.com/2008/10/twice-baked-shortbread-other-lost-recipes/
the whole pan.
my "last dessert" withouth a doubt would be a bittersweet chocolate souffle with a vanilla creme fraiche :)
icing! a big vat of buttercream icing.
One really good slice of a chocolate cake. It has to be moist and rich while the frosting did not over power the flavor of the cake.
A birthday dessert I grew up with, Pistachio Pudding Cake, which really isn't cake at all. Oreo Crust, a layer Pistachio Pudding mixed with vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream. O so tasty!
I think it would definitely be peanut butter cup cookie pizookie topped with vanilla ice cream, that Hershey's chocolate sauce from a can and some fresh whipped cream. It sounds simple, but it's one the best things in my life!
Cheesecake... I remember going through a phase of wanting to eat it 24/7!
lemon bars topped with fresh whipped cream. i just love anything citrus!
Definitely banana split cake (with shortbread cookie crust, not too ripe bananas, strawberries, coconut flakes and caramel sauce.............. and can I get a side of caramel cake with my cake please? lol)
Cheesecake. Definitely cheesecake. With cherries on top. A big one. That I don't have to share. Yup, that's what I would choose.
A pan of brownies (yes, the whole pan), and a gallon of fresh churned vanilla bean ice cream (yes, the whole gallon).
my mom's delicious tiramisu!
Peanut Butter Pie! or Pecan Pie.... one of the two... hmmm... oh man, I don't think I could pick. Definitely one of the two though. omnomnom
apple pie for sure!
My last meal dessert would have to be the biggest peanut butter cup in the world ;)
Lemon raspberry cream chiffon cake mmmmhmmmm :)
There is a restaurant where I live that serves Skor Chocolate Brownie. If I had to choose one dessert, it would definitely be a nice warm Skor Chocolate Brownie with ice cream.
A red velvet cake. But since I don't like the cream cheese icing, it'd be with buttercream. =P
Homemade carrot cake.
