CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a Love n Bake Sampler Pack!
Free stuff is the best--especially when it's sweet and delicious and when it has the potential to make you very, very, happily, fat.
This is all to say: how about a giveaway? Love n Bake, a manufacturer of what I can attest are completely delicious fillings for baking, has kindly offered a sampler pack of some of their most popular products for one lucky winner! It consists of a can each of almond filling, chocolate "schmear" filling (which one would use to make Blackout Crumb bars!), hazelnut praline filling, and almond paste.
So, first things first. This giveaway is only open in the US--but other than that, entry is open! How do you get yourself in the running? Simply leave a comment letting me know what baking project you'd try first with these sweet fillings (don't worry, you won't be judged on originality--this is just to satisfy this spy's curiosity. Oh, and if you need ideas, get some on the Love n Bake blog). The giveway will close next Friday, June 25, at 12 pm PST, and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
So here goes: What sweet recipe would these fillings inspire you to try?
Update: the winner! We have a winner! Katie, who is going to put her prize to good use: "I would use the chocolate on mini chocolate chip cheesecake bites." Nom! Find Katie online here.

Mmmm I totally try a layer cake :)
I have never attempted to made macaroons, so I'd try their recipe for rustic macaroons. Fingers crossed!
Layer bars, double-layer brownies, maybe even filled tart shells with fresh fruit, yum, so many choices!
howdy! omg the chocolate would be awesome in my late moms german torte recipe (for the buttercream frosting/we use chocolate pudding now). if I win, I'll send you a piece! :) bake on!
I would LOVE to use the almond or hazelnut for something...a cake perhaps! :) Or to enhance some buttercream? Not sure, but I've wanted to try some for a long while now!
I'd love to make a layered crepe cake!
Would have to try my hand at Amaretto Cheesecake. There is something just so delicious about chocolate and almonds <3
I would make some S'mores bars with the chocolate schmear
Ohhhhh I would totally make the chocolate rugelach on the chocolate filling can, so I could eat rugelach whenever I wanted and not have to buy copious amounts from the Corner Bakery.
I'd make the chocolate crescents recipe on their website!
I would make lava cakes with hazelnut praline filling.
Almond filled cupcakes!
If I could get my hands on the recipe, I would make Butterhorns, these delicious pastries that a friend of my mother's used to make. They are like slightly sweet crescent rols with almond filling, and they are divine! They must usually go by some other name, though, because I have never been able to find a recipe online.
filling cinnamon rolls with them! or as cake fillings!
I think any of them (but especially the chocolate one) would be good spread in homemade cinnamon rolls.
I'd make their Almond Pastry Ring. .... http://www.lovenbake.com/cookbook/popup.php?sb_id=75
I've always wanted to make homemade marzipan - having the almond paste would give me the perfect excuse : )
I would love to try baking Frangipane croissants, similar to those I was staring at in Tartine on a recent trip to San Francisco. YUM! (You could also use the chocolate Schmear for pain au chocolat -- apparently, I have croissants on the brain today.)
I'd have to find a way to incorporate the hazelnut praline into some brownies!
I so want to make a layer cake with that Hazelnut Praline filling!!
I would have to find a recipe to make with these things. But I trust that the Cakespy knows which direction to point a novice baker in. :)
aah! delish! i would make something chocolate with hazelnut praline filing. mmm... sounds so good!
I have never made a bar cookie before, this might be an incentive to give it a try. The shmear one sounds fantastic!
i'd like to try some brownies with a layer of hazelnut praline in the middle. doesn't that sound gooood?
Would be fun to mix some of that hazelnut praline into cheesecake batter. Or use the almond paste in my next batch of macaroons!
