CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a Love n Bake Sampler Pack!
Free stuff is the best--especially when it's sweet and delicious and when it has the potential to make you very, very, happily, fat.
This is all to say: how about a giveaway? Love n Bake, a manufacturer of what I can attest are completely delicious fillings for baking, has kindly offered a sampler pack of some of their most popular products for one lucky winner! It consists of a can each of almond filling, chocolate "schmear" filling (which one would use to make Blackout Crumb bars!), hazelnut praline filling, and almond paste.
So, first things first. This giveaway is only open in the US--but other than that, entry is open! How do you get yourself in the running? Simply leave a comment letting me know what baking project you'd try first with these sweet fillings (don't worry, you won't be judged on originality--this is just to satisfy this spy's curiosity. Oh, and if you need ideas, get some on the Love n Bake blog). The giveway will close next Friday, June 25, at 12 pm PST, and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
So here goes: What sweet recipe would these fillings inspire you to try?
Update: the winner! We have a winner! Katie, who is going to put her prize to good use: "I would use the chocolate on mini chocolate chip cheesecake bites." Nom! Find Katie online here.

Those blackout bars sound delish! I think I would give them a try!
Layerd brownies. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Homemade Pop Tarts! Yum!
Yum, all of these flavors would be great incorporated as fillings/swirls in a sweet yeast bread recipe!
The fillings would be absolutely divine in stuffed french toast - Perfect for Sunday brunch!
I'd probably open the can and be unable to control myself. I'd hope to get some chocolate on a graham cracker, but I might just taste it from a spoon first!
i use the pistachio for a cheesecake swirl and for cakes and frostings-delicious!!!
Stuffed Pancakes!
I think I would make a four-layer cake using each of these delicious-sounding fillings... maybe even have each layer of cake be a different flavor too. Hmm, could be overwhelming-- maybe I'll just make 4 batches of cupcakes, each with a dollop of different kind of filling inside! Then you'll get some ooey goodness everytime you bite in. That leads me to think of some sort of truffles........
THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!
Definitely put the schmear in some cinnamon rolls for something different.
I would make pignoli cookies! I love them! Even though the pignoli nuts are expensive....soooo worth it.
Hazelnut praline = hazelnut mousse filled chocolate cake!
I would make my own macarons and try to use them as filling. Yum!
OMG: i would bake chocolate chip rugelach using the chocolate schmear!!!
thanks for including me in this giveaway!!!!
Pear tart with the almond paste drooooooooooooooool. Or any other fruit tart. Yeah, it's summer. Ooh, berry tart! Peach and almond ooh that'd be so good!
The almond would go great with a traditional Polish lamb cake! While they are traditionally made for Easter, I love them so much I make it year round although not in the lamb shape. :-)
I would bake the Almond Cake from Chez Panisse
I would definitely make some chocolate bread pudding yumm or the chocolate cresent recipe! BUT to be totally honest I would start with the Blackout Crumb bars, I remember viewing the recipe for that and wondering what they heck schmear was!! They look so delicious!
