CLOSED: Sweet Giveaway: Win a Love n Bake Sampler Pack!
Free stuff is the best--especially when it's sweet and delicious and when it has the potential to make you very, very, happily, fat.
This is all to say: how about a giveaway? Love n Bake, a manufacturer of what I can attest are completely delicious fillings for baking, has kindly offered a sampler pack of some of their most popular products for one lucky winner! It consists of a can each of almond filling, chocolate "schmear" filling (which one would use to make Blackout Crumb bars!), hazelnut praline filling, and almond paste.
So, first things first. This giveaway is only open in the US--but other than that, entry is open! How do you get yourself in the running? Simply leave a comment letting me know what baking project you'd try first with these sweet fillings (don't worry, you won't be judged on originality--this is just to satisfy this spy's curiosity. Oh, and if you need ideas, get some on the Love n Bake blog). The giveway will close next Friday, June 25, at 12 pm PST, and a winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
So here goes: What sweet recipe would these fillings inspire you to try?
Update: the winner! We have a winner! Katie, who is going to put her prize to good use: "I would use the chocolate on mini chocolate chip cheesecake bites." Nom! Find Katie online here.

My gramma and mom always made a poppy seed bread for special occasions. I'd love to try making it myself with the poppy seed filling!

They have a recipe for chocolate monkey bread on their website that sounds so, so good!
i'd use it for cupcake filling or in sandwich cookies!
I would maybe try a layer cake but would need to search some recipes
A layer cake, definitely
I think I would use them to fill homemade croissants. I don't make them very often (roll-in dough is pain!) but for new internal goodness I'd make the sacrifice! : )
I would use some of that hazelnut filling on cheesecake or in brownies...yum!
I would definitely make a layer cake

a cherry bread braid with assorted other fillings... YUM!
I wonder how these would taste in something simple, like a warm homemade biscuit. With fresh fruit on top. I'm thinking strawberries or mandarin oranges, depending on which schmear.
I immediately thought of bearclaws, with almond schmear..... I might just eat the chocolate right out of the can ;)

Mmmmmm--almond paste=rainbow cookies.
Yummmmm.
I would try to make a wonderful concoction called a dutch letter. It is a pastry that we get from a bakery in Pella Iowa. It has a puff pastry outside( i think) and an almond paste filling. I think instead of useing the almond paste I would use the almond filling. All of the products look good and to many ideas come to my mind.
I would totally use them in some cupcakes... probably to fill them and also to mix in the forsting. YUM!
Oh I have been wanting to make a "torta mil hojas" for so long! I would definitely use some hazelnut praline or chocolate in between some of the layers!
