Cake Poll: Baking Vs. Eating Preferences

It's July, and high time for a sweet giveaway! This time, Carolyn's Kitchen, a very cool company which designs retro-inspired aprons and kitchen accessories, has kindly donated one of their fashionable aqua cupcake aprons (retail value $42!) for the giveaway. I hope I don't need to tell you that this is a totally awesome prize.

What a totally SWEET apron from Carolyn's Kitchen! And I especially LOVE the teal color! What I bake and what I eat ARE different - isn't that funny?! I like to eat lemony and citrus sweets, but I will bake anything that looks fun, including chocolate which is a crowd pleaser! Hope to win!!
I love to bake, but I usually don't eat what I bake. I tend to give it away to friends!
My answer a year ago would have been "cheesecake, cheesecake, cheesecake all around," but since I've acquired a more professional piping set and gotten more birthday requests from friends, I can't seem to stop baking/devouring filled cupcakes. Texas sheet cake cupcakes with peanut butter cream filling and a ganache topper - you can't beat it!
I have been on a cupcakes with cream cheese frosting kick for a few months now but don't know HOW to make the frosting I've had at a local bakery... to die for.
I tend to make a lot of chocolate chip cookies, on demand!
I love to bake cupcakes with my French Toast with peanut butter frosting being my (and others) favorite. I also love making my lollicakes. I love to eat my cupcakes but I also love it when someone else makes oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with craisins!!!
I love to bake brownies, but I eat cookies like there is no tomorrow.
Lately, my favorite thing to make has been strawberry rhubarb pies, even though I still haven't gotten the thickness of the filling quite right.
Though I do love to eat my creations, my favorite thing is chocolate eclairs. I'm sure that I could make them from scratch, but I've never done so - probably because I don't know that I'd trust myself with a batch of custard filling. I'd probably eat it straight from the pot! ;)
I love to make cake. Love love love to! My fave dessert to eat is chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven...yum!

My favorite thing to bake is pie...and that's pretty much my favorite thing to eat, too.
I also love to bake: layer cakes, cookies, brownies, scones, bread, cupcakes, rolls, and muffins. Oddly enough, I love to eat all those things, too.
I never bake anything I don't want to eat. I will, however, tailor my baking to what the person with me most wants to eat within the range of what I like.
All in all, baked things tend to make me happy, so it's hard to think of one I wouldn't at least attempt to make if someone wanted to eat it.
That's why when Mr. Twistie admitted to me that he didn't much care for cake, I was happy to have wedding tarts instead. Yum.
My favorite dessert to make right now is Martha Stewart's "one bowl chocolate cake" because it's so EASY. But favorite dessert to eat? That's harder. Vanilla ice cream, my grandma's magic cobbler, and I've had a hankering for a good cookie for DAYS. Yummy!
Making pies is my favorite pastime. I also love to eat pies such as strawberry, lemon merangue, chocolate cream or banana cream. I learned how to make pies from crust to completion from my mother and she learned from her mother. The legacy continues!
Oh, yes, I love to eat what I bake! I wouldn't invest the time and love if I didn't, just don't tell my family. ; )

This is a hard one, I love to bake and cook. I would say Cheesecake and my favorite to eat...I would say....maybe cheesecake also. I ove to bake bread and cakes also. It is a hard one but Cheesecake on both would have to be it.
Chocolate Chip cookies, they are quick and easy. and if u dont even wanna wait for them to be baked, u're good to go too. the Jacques Torres Chocolate chip cookies i just baked were exceptionally good.

I love to bake so I'm down to make whatever gets requested or whatever I happen to be in the mood for! I love to eat chocolate chip cookies and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are my absolute favorite!

To eat: Bread Pudding.
I love baking complicated cakes and cookies, but my favorite to eat is just plain buttery yellow cake cupcakes with chocolate frosting, or butter pecan cake with no frosting. I save the elaborate stuff for other people :)

I like to bake cookies, especially chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, and peanut butter. My favorite baked good to eat is pie, and my favorite is lemon meringue. I'm a good baker, but I find lemon meringue pie to be a bit too difficult, and too many steps for me to enjoy baking it. I like more simple recipes.
