It's July, and high time for a sweet giveaway! This time, Carolyn's Kitchen, a very cool company which designs retro-inspired aprons and kitchen accessories, has kindly donated one of their fashionable aqua cupcake aprons (retail value $42!) for the giveaway. I hope I don't need to tell you that this is a totally awesome prize.

I like to try new things when I bake desserts, but my go to is usually ricotta cheesecake. When it comes to eating though, it's a whole different story. Then I prefer cake-like desserts. Obviously cakes, but also banana breads,cupcakes and soft cookies.
adorable apron! well, it totally depends on my mood with what I will bake - it's so hot most of the time I try to limit the oven time! I like brownies. As far as eating out dessert, I love tiramisu

My favorite things to bake are classic chocolate chip cookies. But my favorite dessert to eat is a chocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting. Yumm!
One of my favorite dishes to eat is Banana Foster's. It's quick, easy and indulgent when served bubbling hot over vanilla ice cream. The spicy sweet caramel butter rum sauce is to die for!
One of my favorite desserts to cook and serve is chocolate fondue. It's such a fun and festive dish for parties, especially when paired with fruit, marshmallows, brownie and cheesecake. And you can always add a twist by adding mint or hazelnut liquor. Yum!
If I could, I would replace all my meals with dessert! My favorite thing to make is cupcakes- so many cute ways to decorate them. My favorite dessert to eat is custard- yum! Cross fingers that I win this adorable apron! thanks cakespy :)

My favorite baked good to make is definitely the cupcake! It's so much less risky than baking a cake due to its miniscule nature, but just as much fun to decorate! And everyone gets their own little single serving treat.
As far as eating goes, chocolate chip cookies will always have a special place in my heart... and stomach! Yum.

I love making classic chocolate or vanilla cupcakes! I LOVE cupcakes... I love eating chocolate brownies in ANY dessert! Mmm!

Favorite to bake: bread pudding. I love using up the ends of loaves of bread (whether I made them or bought them) in a gooey, sweet pudding, especially with fruit and/or chocolate added.
Favorite to eat: um, does "everything" count as an answer? If not, since it's summer my answer is probably peach cobbler.

I like to make chocolate cakes and cupcakes b/c people always love them. I however do not like chocolate in cake form and prefer strawberry or lemon. Yum!

i would NEVER admit this to any of my customer's but i do not eat ANYTHING i bake. by the time i have put the blood, sweat, tears and hair (that has fallen out of my head from all the stress i have created for myself) into that cake/cookie/cuppie...the LAST thing i want to do is eat it. i want to stare at it, photograph it and deliver that bad boy...because the best part of baking something for someone, is the reaction you get when you deliver it. HOWEVER-i will eat anything someone else bakes that crosses my path. BEWARE.
Fave to make - outrageous brownies (ina garten) - 'cause they are my mom's and my daughter's favorite...
