Cake Poll: Baking Vs. Eating Preferences

It's July, and high time for a sweet giveaway! This time, Carolyn's Kitchen, a very cool company which designs retro-inspired aprons and kitchen accessories, has kindly donated one of their fashionable aqua cupcake aprons (retail value $42!) for the giveaway. I hope I don't need to tell you that this is a totally awesome prize.

i love to make cookies with my kids, and i love to eat pretty much any baked good. i most especially love cupcakes with buttercream frosting. that seems to be my biggest downfall. that, and slabs of cake with the same homemade buttercream. mmmmmmgood!
I am pretty simple. I usually bake what I love to eat. (which is a curse and blessing at the same time)
I love chocolate chip cookie recipes. I could try a new one with a new twist everyday. I also love baking cupcakes and love searching for the next best cupcake when I am out at local cafe's and bakeries.

I love to make cheesecake with the oreo or graham cracker crust and fruit topping. It takes some time, but its huge and gorgeous and totally worth it when I see people's faces.

So silly, but I love to eat stale, soft oreos (leftovers from the cheesecake). They taste like they were already dipped in milk. Eating 4 plus is easy.

I love to bake cupcakes, pies and cookies. Those are all my favorites to eat too!
I like to bake fruit pies, especially in the summer. And I LOVE to eat chocolate cake, especially if it has a bit of vanilla in it!
Favorite baked good/dessert to MAKE: Cake's! I love making cakes using my Cake Dr. Cookbook where you make them using a boxed cake mix as the dry ingredients and ADD TONS OF COOL stuff to them. Our favorite is the SNickerdoodle cake! OMG.
Favorite Baked good/dessert to EAT: Creme'Brulee' - I could eat that all the time. It's my all time favorite dessert.
I like to bake cupcakes and cakes - love to do the icing and make them pretty.
I like to eat pie - mmmmm apple pie, peach pie - all kinds of pie. But I've never actually MADE a pie. Need to get on that.
I pretty much only bake what I love to eat. Yummy creative and different ingredients in cupcakes. Of course they don't always come out as yummy as I planned in my head, but that is the fun part of playing with ingredients.

My favorite baked good to make it any type of fresh fruit pie, such a satisfying and calming experience. I'm pretty sure my favorite to eat is cheesecake, although the baking of that can be frustrating.

Love Nigella Lawson's Honeybee Cake and Chocolate Gingerbread; both are pretty rich, but very simple to throw together. Love chiffon and angel food cakes with icing. Love cookies of all sorts.
I don't think I've ever attempted baking something that didn't appeal to my palate!
My favorite baked good to make would be cheesecake. It is a lot of work, but when everyone is enjoying it, they truly appreciate all the hard work it took to have such a yummy treat.
What is my favorite thing to eat... that's a hard one, I love almost anything sweet. I could eat cake, pie, cookies, anything. I do love to have cake though, there is just something about it. I could eat it anyday.
I love anything sweet and usually end up baking chocolate based things like chocolate cupcakes, filled with chocolate filling, and chocolate icing. As far as buying, I don't normally purchase (as I can make it myself ; - ) but when I do it's always the vegan chocolate cupcakes and vegan chocolate tort from Whole Foods...yummmmmmmmmm. I could eat the entire tort in one sitting it's so good ; - )

I love to bake poundcake, cheesecake and cookies. And anything else that pops in my brain. I love to eat fruit pie and angel food cake. Those are my faves. Not a big fan of fancy, dye laden frosting, so I usuallly skip regular cake!

Cheesecake!
What I bake is what I love to eat! I think bars are my favorite--not only do I get joy out of making delicious treats, but I love when others drool over it!! Peanut butter chocolate bars are generally the winner...
a) I like cookies, as they require the least amount of work, in my opinion. I admit to sometimes using stuff from a box, because I am THAT lazy and without shame;
b) cupcakes. Obvs.
