I've been hoping someone would come out with a black licorice cupcake. I'd be all over that!
I would love to try a dark chocolate cupcake that has cayenne pepper in it. That combination just has my mouth watering!
Probably the Chai cupcake. I'm not a big fan of chai, so I don't know why I tried it.
I had a caramel apple bacon cupcake: Apple cake style cupcake w/ caramel creamcheese frosting and little bacon bits sprinkled on top, SO DELISH, PROMISE!
I have enjoyed a chocolate cupcake that had a great dose of chili pepper.
I'd love someone to make a Midnight Margarita cupcake! and actually include the rum!! seriously, it'd rock

Champagne chocolate cupcakes. It was an interesting mix....
I'm not too adventurous when it comes to the cupcakes I've tasted, but hearing some of the other comments about cupcakes with chili powder does sound like something fun to try!
Probably the ricotta and marmalade cupcake that I actually made because I wanted to try it! LOL! It was quite good!
It has to be cinnamon dulce de leche! It tastes like brazilian churros!! LOVE IT!
Chocolate orange chipotle. Not my favorite, but it worked.
I made rhubarb cupcake with a rhubarb simple syrup in the frosting. It was interesting, for sure. lol

Honestly, I haven't tried that many crazy flavours, but one that was fantastic was caramel cupcakes with salted caramel buttercream. Its heaven just thinking about it!
salted caramel. Doesnt seem very daring, but it was so good.
I'm pretty boring... I had a dark chocolate and chipotle one with a dulce de leche swirl once that I made, and I recently did some black sesame seed ones too.
I haven't tried anything unusual, but I would think strawberry/raspberry jalepeno cream cheese cupcake would be yummy! =)
Now it is quite common, but a year ago I tasted for the first time a bacon, chocolate and jalapeño cupcake..it wasn't bad but I would prefer plain chocolate...
Someone had a broccoli one on a website I was browsing recently. Hmmm, not sure about that one!
The Yellow Leaf Cupcake Co in Seattle makes a Tomato Soup cupcake that is supposed to be amazing, but they didn't have it the last time I went in. Still, it's the one flavour that's intrigued me lately and I'm definitely going to try it soon :)
I am pretty boring. The strangest I've had was Lemon Lavender.
Oooh, good question! I think the most unusual cupcake I've ever had was lavender-peach. So good! :)
I had a bacon chocolate cupcake at Tee & Cakes in Boulder, CO. It wasn't that unusual tasting though. They have a beer batter cupcake with salted caramel frosting I've been dying to try though!
