It's time for a totally sweet giveaway, dudes and dudettes.

I'm sure you'll have no trouble putting it to good use on cute cupcake and baking accessories: they've got some fantastic cupcake liners, sprinkles and other garnishes, and display items too!
How do you put yourself in the running? It's easy. Just answer the following question:
What is the most unusual cupcake flavor you've ever tasted?
Maple bacon? Chai cardamom? Bananas foster? There are all sorts of unusual cupcake flavor combinations out there--have you sampled any of them? Or if you haven't sampled any unusual flavors, are there any you've wanted to try?
You can enter yourself in the running for a $50 gift certificate to Sweet Cuppin Cakes by entering your response to the above question in the comments section below; you might want to browse their shop in the meantime! The cake poll will close at 12 p.m. PST on Friday, November 13, 2009. Good luck!

Strawberry rosemary or garlic, but I'm guessing that WD-50 probably offers up something WAY weirder. Fun contest!
I made a chocolate cupcake+avocado icing before. It was pretty darn good! Avocados are used a lot in sweet Asian desserts so I am use to the flavor but some of my taste testers were iffy on it. HA HA. Thanks for hosting this fun giveaway! Hope I win :)
I'd like a cupcake with an amaretto flavor.
I've always wanted to try a chocolate caramel and bacon cupcake--I think it might be pretty good. :)
I had a pink lemonade cupcake complete with pink lemon glazed frosting... AMAZING!
Thanks for the giveaway =)
I haven't had any too-crazy cupcakes (although I'm open!)
My friend and I made chocolate stout cupcakes! Well, they were supposed to be chocolate stout but we just used regular beer. Anyway, they were AWESOME!
I am dying to try a champagne cupcake with some whipped cream and fresh strawberries!!
I dunno why but that maple bacon combination sounds heavenly. I really haven't had too many crazy flavor combinations yet.
Grapefruit cupcakes are great!
If I could find a cupcake with bacon on it I would love to try it :)
I wish I could try unusual flavors, though the "usual" are always reliably good anyway. If I could try any, hmm, well your chai cardamom sounds good! :)
So technically, this wasn't a cupcake, but a bundt cake, but I think it should count because it's all cake. Anyway, it was a white chocolate-golden beet cake. Yeah, one of the worst things I've ever made.
Wow, so many great suggestions on the comments! I haven't had any unusual flavors yet, but I know I would love anything with bacon. Yum.
Just cake, not cuppie: strawberry corn.
Maple bacon was odd for me at first but now i love it!
Mexican hot chocolate with chili powder.
I've made chocolate chipotle cupcakes, and purchased salted caramel ones...heaven!!
This isn't very exciting, but I had a vanilla cupcake with mint frosting that was very good, and unexpected. I know, I know...boring. I would love to try a cupcake with bacon involved.
Interesting cupcakes? I can't say I have eaten anything too weird. Although I would be totally willing. Veggies, spices, any of that. Maybe I should do a Curried sweet potato cupcake with a coconut frosting. Hmmmm.....
I ate a margarita cupcake once and it was delicious. I'm still trying to figure out to to replicate the taste!
I had a passionfruit cupcake once, but that's about as exciting as it's gotten for me.
I think I ate an Horchata cupcake once, if not, I will be next week!
i was a judge in a local cupcake competition and one of the entries was a french toast cupcake with maple syrup buttercream topped with bacon. unfortunately it sounded much better than it tasted!!
the cupcakes i would love so much to try is by "whiskie bits" in oakland, california-- i've only seen her cupcakes online but the flavours sound soooo awesome. "heirloom tomato" -- heirloom tomato cake, lemon, mediterranean spices with Italian basil-lemon mascarpone cream cheese frosting.
WHUT! so awesome!!!!
I haven't tried anything too unusual yet... I keep eyeing the menu at Trophy Cupcakes for something different to try, though. I'm not adventurous enough to try making something unusual, in case I don't like it and am stuck with a 2 dozen cupcakes.
I would say that the most unsual cupcake flavor I've had was a S'mores cupcake - matcha cupcakes were normal, as were roasted vanilla matcha but this s'mores cupcake was something else. A cream-filled vanilla cake with chocolate frosting toasted marshmallow and salty graham crumbs on top - it was amazing!
