Cake Poll: Totally Sweet Jessie Steele Apron Giveaway!

My only regret with this giveaway is that I myself cannot enter--I'm told that this is what they call a "conflict of interest".

Too bad, cos it's a totally sweet prize: a duo of mother-and-daughter aprons by Jessie Steele!

Yup, that's right: one lucky winner (US and Canada entrants only, please) will win not one but two Jessie Steele aprons (a prize worth over $50 USD!) in their popular "Audrey" design--aka, the one with the cute cupcakes! One is sized for adults, and one is sized for children. Undoubtedly even if you don't have children of your own, you won't find it hard to give this pint-sized apron a happy home.

How do you put yourself in the running? It's easy. Just leave a comment below with your response to this pressing cake question:

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have one dessert with you, what would it be?

The fine print: Simply post your response in the comments section and you will automatically be entered! The cake poll will close at 12pm PST on Tuesday, March 16, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Of course, if you find that you can't wait and simply must purchase these aprons, click here to buy. Good luck!

UPDATE: THE WINNER! We have a winner, chosen at random from about 450 entrants: Elizabeth from Jacksonville, FL! What is she gonna make in her Jessie Steele apron? Maybe her "desert island" dessert: "Smores made from my homemade marshmallows and graham crackers to go with my bonfire by the sea". Congratulations to Elizabeth, and come back soon for a new giveaway!

I would have to say one of my pecan pies made with real cane syrup, and extra flaky crust! Truly a Southern "must have" dish!!

Cream cheese chocolate chip brownies. If I'm stranded on a deserted island, I wouldn't care how big I got eating them.

Why cake, of course! Specifically, Chocolate Zuccotto Cake from Maggiano's.

Just 1? Deep sigh. Homemade ice cream. I have the easiest recipe that must have 5000 calories a serving but it is sooooo good. And on an island, I might need something cold.

I would have to say cheesecake, any flavour, it's my favorite.

The one thing I would need to keep me going would be large homemade cinnamon rolls with walnuts and cream cheese icing! That would be a meal for me!

Stranded on a desert island....with only one dessert? accckkkk How bout you make that stranded on a dessert island...now we're talking....fluffy clouds of marsmallows, ice cream caves, cupcake hills, lace cookie umbrellas, honey syrup streams, french toast platueas, rock candy beaches.....mmmmmmm I like dessert island.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pain au Chocolat...but I only indulge when in Quebec City or in Europe! Crepes are delish as well :)

And eclair, for sure! Perhaps some sort of neverending supply of fresh choux and one of those custard-injecting machines for the filling, and a big pot of ganache to dip it in. That way when I want to escape I can turn the injector into a radio or something.

Raspberry cheesecake would be my dessert for the island. Now I want the raspberry cheesecake. mmmmmmmm yummy!

March 12 | Unregistered CommenterRain Toledo

I would have to have gooey brownies laced with pecans & covered in ganache!
