Cake Poll: Totally Sweet Jessie Steele Apron Giveaway!

My only regret with this giveaway is that I myself cannot enter--I'm told that this is what they call a "conflict of interest".

Too bad, cos it's a totally sweet prize: a duo of mother-and-daughter aprons by Jessie Steele!

Yup, that's right: one lucky winner (US and Canada entrants only, please) will win not one but two Jessie Steele aprons (a prize worth over $50 USD!) in their popular "Audrey" design--aka, the one with the cute cupcakes! One is sized for adults, and one is sized for children. Undoubtedly even if you don't have children of your own, you won't find it hard to give this pint-sized apron a happy home.

How do you put yourself in the running? It's easy. Just leave a comment below with your response to this pressing cake question:

If you were stranded on a desert island and could only have one dessert with you, what would it be?

The fine print: Simply post your response in the comments section and you will automatically be entered! The cake poll will close at 12pm PST on Tuesday, March 16, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Of course, if you find that you can't wait and simply must purchase these aprons, click here to buy. Good luck!

UPDATE: THE WINNER! We have a winner, chosen at random from about 450 entrants: Elizabeth from Jacksonville, FL! What is she gonna make in her Jessie Steele apron? Maybe her "desert island" dessert: "Smores made from my homemade marshmallows and graham crackers to go with my bonfire by the sea". Congratulations to Elizabeth, and come back soon for a new giveaway!

That's a toughie. Too bad it's not a dessert island! Really, that's funny in my head...

This might be cheating but I would say a chocolate brownie ice-cream sundae. I couldn't choose between my brownies & my ice cream!

Ooo, hard one. I love all things sweet. So I think Ill go with Cherry pie. Sweet, tart, cherry pie.

It would HAVE to be Chocolate Chip Cookie dough with bits of Brownie Ice Cream! My favorite!

Mint chocolate chip ice cream

It would have to say chocolate mousse. Chocolatey, yet not too heavy.

It would have to be brownies. Chocolately, fudgey, gooey brownies. Can I have some milk too?

I'd have to say a gigantic Frazier cake! Mazipan, fresh strawberries, and yummy cake! What could be better?

Definitely Mousse au Chocolat, the dark variety

Raspberry Marzipan Torte. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Macarons, macarons, macarons!!!!! All kinds but my favorites are coffee and vanilla bean.

These aprons are so adorable. My daughter would be so excited.

Oh goodness...almost too many to choose from. I think mine would be Caramel Delights...or most recently known as Samoa girl scout cookies. Loved 'em for years..but sadly cannot seem to find any this year. :(

Deep fried Oreo cookies. Definitely.

I'd probably have to say that if I was stranded in an island I would definitely want some New York Cheesecake with me.

March 13 | Unregistered CommenterElsie Vega

Anything and everything with cream cheese in it!

March 14 | Unregistered CommenterRosie

Double Chocolate Chip brownies (chewy)

March 14 | Unregistered CommenterChristina

creme brulee... YUM!

Caneles bordelais- breakfast, lunch dinner, midnite snack-it sometimes makes me sad that I would pick these over being stranded on the island with Johnny Depp-but they are soooo incredible--yes that's all I need.

Probably good old chocolate chip cookies. I almost said cheesecake, but I think that a favorite cookie is the best thing to keep around just in case you need it!

March 14 | Unregistered CommenterEmily

I think I'd go for cream puffs. Light flaky pastry and cool cream topped with chocolate would take care of most cravings nicely. And now I want some.

March 14 | Unregistered CommenterMiss

Such a hard question...if wonka candies were real I'd definitely go for that gum or the gobstoppers. Seeing as they're not, probably something with lots of fruit and chocolate.

March 14 | Unregistered CommenterMai

Pineapple upside down cake for sure!

March 15 | Unregistered CommenterDiana

I would bring monkey bread. Hands down. Gotta love them monkey bread.

'Smores made from my homemade marshmallows and graham crackers to go with my bonfire by the sea. =)

Chocolate and banana crepes. TO. DIE. FOR.
Oooooh! I've been eying these with envy for a long time. I would keep one and give one to my sister.
Hey... March 16th! It's practically a birthday present!
