This daily sweet isn't by me, but it sure did sweeten my day, so I had to pass it on: the "Scrumptious Crumb" sandwich which celebrates the best part of crumb cake--the crumb--in delicious sandwich form. Simply genius! As seen on the Nutroplitan Museum of Art.

Today's image isn't from me but made me smile because of the sheer amount of rainbows. It comes via Cupcake Royale's Facebook page, where they say:

Buy THE GAY cupcake and we'll donate $2 to the It Gets Better Project an organization dedicated to The It Gets Better Project, which was created to show young LGBT people the levels of happiness, potential, and positivity their lives will reach – if they can just get through their teen years. The It Gets Better Project wants to remind teenagers in the LGBT community that they are not alone – and it WILL get better. We hope to raise over $5,000 for this effort during Gay Pride Month in June.

This time, Cuppie got to meet one of my sweetest artistic inspirations: Andy Warhol! This statue is fairly new in Union Square in NYC, close to one of Warhol's Factory locations. I think they like each other.

This was taken amidst the lovely old buildings on Pike Street by the Pike Place Market, which at this time of year is dotted with beautiful cherry blossoms. Of course, when I see pink cherry blossoms, it reminds me of my other favorite pink-hued thing: frosting! Here's the world through cupcake-vision.

So, you guys, I will have you know that I have revisited the scene of this crime. No, I don't have an unhealthy obsession with Banana Republic--they don't even have much in my size there. But, the name is easy to make sweeter, and I do love the building in which it resides.
