Sweet Giveaway: Win a Copy of You Are My Cupcake By Joyce Wan!

FACT: You could use some more cuteness in your life. But how? Answer: a copy of You Are My Cupcake , the adorable new book by Joyce Wan, which focuses on terms of endearment, delivered with a ton of cute illustrations.

And--lucky you--Joyce has offered up three copies to give away on this very site! Like, OMG!

How do you enter to win? It's like, so easy. Simply confess the cutest pet name you use for your partner (or your pup, or kitty, or sister, whatever) in the comments section below, or on the CakeSpy Facebook page. It doesn't have to be pastry-related (but you know that we'll probably enjoy those ones best).

Three winners (US only this time, please!) will be chosen at random on next Friday, August 5; the winners will be contacted and announced once they have been confirmed.

Good luck!

There used to be a boy in my life I called Cupcake... I haven't talked to him in ages but I bet he grew up to be a layer cake.

I have been calling my wife "Bunnykins" for the past few years, but I have no idea why that nickname stuck. Occasionally, I will refer to my cat as "Sticky Mittens", when he needs his claws clipped and they stick to everything!

My cat's name is Chaos. But my term of endearment for her is Biscuit Eater.
I call my boyfriend Stinky Weasel. Cuz he farts a lot. lol

My best friend Sandi is "Sandster" or "P" for her middle initial. I guess I don't get too cutesy with nicknames, but I hope to be someone's "little tumbleweed" someday.

Husband gets "jellybean" and the dog gets "snuggle bunny". :)

I call my girlfriend "B" even though her name is Lina. But in terms of cutsie names, I cal her mon petite chou which means my little cabbage in French.

Well, it's not that precious, but I call him Charlie. His real name's Scott but my roommate my senior year of college could NOT remember his name. At all. Ever. And so she just took to calling him Charlie, which honestly fits better than Scott. But if you're looking for food-related, he calls me his Lil' Tim Tam. I became OBSESSED with the Aussie "biscuits" (cookies) after visiting my sister in Sydney and have forced him to eat them on numerous occasions. Okay, the first time was forced, after that he was more than willing to eat them. =)

I call my fiance "Pumpkin"! I just love the way it sounds. "Pumpkin". He most certainly doesn't look like a pumpkin, but just like fresh-out-of-the-oven pumpkin pie, being with him is heart-warming and makes me smile and feel incredibly happy.

I have an odd tendency to call my boyfriend cuddlebunny. I always mean to say cuddle buddy, but when you're half asleep from being all cuddle drunk and warm words tend to get slurred.

My husband calls me carrot as a term of endearment.
It started while we were dating. He made a card for me with a picture I took of my guinea pigs fiercely holding on to a carrot (because guinea pigs are coo coo crazy for carrots :)

He wrote, "I'll hold on to you like a guinea pig holds on to a carrot."

8 years later, he still calls me carrot. He purposed to me with a custom made ring with a carrot on it from etsy. That was endearing. He is endearing. :)
