Good to the Grain because it uses a bunch of different, wholesome flours and i ALWAYS bake with whole wheat so it'd be fun to expand to other whole grains too!
David Lebovitz's Ready for Dessert: My Best Recipes
The Pioneer Woman Cookbook! Loove her blog
Ratio by Michael Ruhman, or maybe the sequel he's got coming out. I've checked it out several times from the library and I think it's time for my own copy!
David Lebovitz's The Perfect Scoop because I got an ice cream maker for Christmas which I can't wait to try out!
The Veganomicon is next on my to-buy list. It'd be awesome if I didn't have to buy it!
The Complete Magnolia Bakery Cookbook: Recipes from the World-Famous Bakery
PUH-LEZ!!!!!
I'm always checking out cookbooks from the library and get sad when I have to return them. ;o)
I've been secretly (and not so secretly) wanting "Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a Day".
Always wanted to own Dorie Greenspan's Baking: From my Home to Yours, but since it's out of print, would love, love Desserts by Pierre Herme.
David Lebovitz's Ready for Dessert: My Best Recipes
One focusing specifically on the Farmers Market..I'm always looking for good fresh produce recipes.
I really want the Better Homes and Gardens New Cook Book: Celebrating the Promise, 14th Limited Edition "Pink Plaid" cook book that comes in the binder format. It seems like it has a really good variety of traditional recipes and some from guest chefs. I want to learn how to cook well and this seems like it would help! And it supports a good cause...
This is a very basic request, but I'd like How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman.
Good to the Grain: Baking with Whole Grain-Flours, by Kim Boyce is the one cookbook that I absolutely can't get out of my head right now.
I would pick Super Natural Cooking by Heidi Swanson. I'm trying to incorporate more whole foods into my cooking!
Madhur Jaffrey, Indian Cooking. I want this mainly because many many friends and co-workers, who know what a nut I am for Indian food, have recommended this and praised it as the holy grail of Indian recipes.
I would love to get the cookbook "Everyday Food: Fresh Flavor Fast" from Martha Stewart Living. I don't have a subscription to the magazine, but I've heard great things about their recipes. I would love to try them out!
It's a tie between Julia Child's The Way to Cook or Shirley Coiherr's BakeWise. I look forward to one day having at least one Julia Child cookbook! And I've heard BakeWise is an interesting addition.
Why are your competitions only open to US residents these days? If it's the cost of postage, I'd happily pay my own should I win! :'(
The Pioneer Woman Cooks! I Love reading her blog and the recipes are great!
Any of the David Leibowitz cookbooks! I love dessert and I love him!
Sky High: Irresistible Triple-Layer Cakes. I've heard great things about this book and tried the vanilla cake which came out fantastically. I'm always looking for great new cake recipes and techniques and would love to add this to my collection.
I don't even know what to pick for my most-desired cookbook. It would certainly be a baking cookbook, but how to choose!? I have almost no baking cookbooks (just the Joy of Cooking's section). Can I defer to you, oh wise CakeSpy? I know you would know. Could you pick the best baking cookbook? I bake a ton, probably two-three times a week, many recipes from this site, but need a GREAT cookbook. So, it's dealer's choice!
I have been badly wanting Cute Yummy Time by La Carmina! It looks super adorable and I think it would be so fun to use :)
