Hmm. I tend to avoid morning pastries (blasphemous, I know), because my stomach can't handle most food early in the day. BUT I do love a good muffin. But not a dense, cakey muffin high in sugar. Rather, a light and airy muffin that is moist and gets most of its sweety goodness from fruit. Like apple muffins are great.
Wait. Do pancakes count as a breakfast pastry? Because I am the queen of pancakes.
Just sayin'.

My favorite are scones, especially raspberry ones! Though I'll eat them ANY time of day!!
I really like warm fresh scones with butter and raspberry jam for breakfast.
Oooo breakfast pasteries are my weakness! I would probably have to say my all time favorite is a raspberry cream cheese danish.... fresh.... and hot.... and made from scratch! =]
