Waxed Paper Versus Parchment Paper in Baking

Can you use waxed paper instead of parchment paper in baking? I mean, come on, they look the same and everything.

This is a great post! Even though I was aware of the difference and when I can/cannot use either, I did learn something new about using it for cake decorating and wrapping cookie dough before freezing.
