Sweet Giveaway: Sweet Art For Sweethearts!

For no particular reason, other than I think you're sweet and I like you, I'd like to offer up a sweet giveaway: a framed CakeSpy print!

This 5x7 framed print depicts a sweetly subversive scene: Cuppie enjoying a red velvet cupcake and some delicious coffee! It has an inner mat and is printed in vibrant ink on a thick cardstock paper.

And it will go to one lucky winner! How do you put your name in the hat? It's, like, totally easy. Just leave a comment below weighing in on this important question: when it comes to Red Velvet Cake, what is your favorite frosting? A traditional boiled frosting? A classic cream cheese frosting? Or perhaps a vanilla or even cocoa buttercream?

This giveaway will close one week from today, on February 13, at noon PST. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Of course, if you can't wait to buy CakeSpy art, click on over to cakespyshop.com!

I like a not too sweet cream cheese frosting.

And Jessie, my daughter gave me the Cuppie and Diet Coke tote bag for my birthday. Your note inside made my day--she was so excited about it! Thank you so much!

Good old-fashioned cream cheese is, in my opinion, the only frosting good enough for red velvet cake ;D

Cream cheese frosting please! But not too sweet.

My vote is for the classic cream cheese frosting. Hey, gotta get a little protein with your desert, right? :)

I'm from the South. I need the classic creamcheese frosting. Otherwise it is just some red, vaugely chocolate cake.

A nice vanilla bean buttercream. I feel I'm really in a minority with this one!

so i tried making an ermine frosting once, but it just tasted like sweet butter. i think red velvet cake is all about texture, so i'd go for a nice crispy cream cheese... though dousing the whole thing in a good white chocolate like those cake balls a few posts back doesn't sound half bad either...

I think classic cream cheese frosting is always a winner with red velvet cupcakes or cake. It adds a nice subtle flavor to the cake without it being too sweet! :)
