Sweet Giveaway: Sweet Art For Sweethearts!

For no particular reason, other than I think you're sweet and I like you, I'd like to offer up a sweet giveaway: a framed CakeSpy print!

This 5x7 framed print depicts a sweetly subversive scene: Cuppie enjoying a red velvet cupcake and some delicious coffee! It has an inner mat and is printed in vibrant ink on a thick cardstock paper.

And it will go to one lucky winner! How do you put your name in the hat? It's, like, totally easy. Just leave a comment below weighing in on this important question: when it comes to Red Velvet Cake, what is your favorite frosting? A traditional boiled frosting? A classic cream cheese frosting? Or perhaps a vanilla or even cocoa buttercream?

This giveaway will close one week from today, on February 13, at noon PST. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Of course, if you can't wait to buy CakeSpy art, click on over to cakespyshop.com!

To be honest I don't remember ever having red velvet before, so I would want to try the traditional cream cheese frosting first before branching out to other options.

Jessie,

I absolutely LOVE red velvet cupcakes. I love it traditional with cream cheese frosting...HOWEVER, I have had it with a think later of chocolate ganache on top of classic buttercream and that was tasty. Still, nothing beats simple and classic.

cream cheese frosting--easy on the cheese--don't want it too overpowering

Gotta go with the cream cheese! So yummy! At the bakery I work at we make red velvet cake with a layer of bavarian cream filling and a layer of cheesecake filling and then ice it in our buttercream! Now that's good!

Hope this is open to Canadians :)

I think a classic buttercream with maybe a royal icing decal would be tasty.

A family run cupcakery in Calgary - Crave Cupcakes - has really tasty ones. Best cupcakes I've had in Western Canada come from there (I'd like to say they come from my mom, but I'd be lying)

Cheers!
