Sweet Giveaway: Win a Copy of What Kind of Fairy Is Merry Berry, a Cupcake-Themed Kid's Book

Finally, they've written my life story as an illustrated children's book.

Just kidding. It's not my life story. I'm not *actually* a cupcake fairy.

But thanks to the lovely folks at Chronicle Books, I have a copy of a book about one--entitled What Kind of Fairy Is Merry Berry? by Lindsey Renee and illustrated by Susan Reagan--to give away to one lucky reader (US or Canada only, please!). It's perfect for a sweet kid in your life--or, you know, your sweet inner kid.

My favorite book when I was little was called Avocado Baby. It was about this baby whose favorite food is avocadoes that make him nice and strong, and then he protects his wimpy family. Or something like that. Super cute and food related :)

My daughter and I love to read Pinkalicious together-- and we have had quite a few pink cupcakes to go along. It's a lovely book specially selected by one of my nieces. Really sweet. How to Be A Pig is one of my favorites to read to the kiddos, too.

"I love you forever" by Robert Munsch. It was the very first thing I bought when I first discovered I was pregnant, all 4 of my kids can practically recite it now! We still love all of Robert Munsch's books.

Some of my favorite kids books are: Pat the Bunny (love all the diff. textures), Harold and Magic Crayon, Dr. Seuss's "Mr. Brown Can Moo," and anything by Richard Scary.

My favorite kids book was "Rebecca's World" by Terry Nation....ok, you've never heard of it. It was out of print before I was born. But I found it at the local library by chance when I was 7.. it was my favorite. I borrowed it as soon as I had to give it back. Then they didn't let me borrow it. I came back weeks later looking for it, and they'd sold it in a book fair..for 25 cents!!!!! 20 years later, my sister got it for me for Christmas and I still feel like a kid when I read it.
