Baker's Dozen: A Batch of Sweet Patisseries I'll Be Visiting in Paris

Guess what? I'm in Paris right now. And to share a bit of the sweetness, here's just a baker's dozen (in no particular order) of the many sweet spots on my must-visit list in the City of Lights!
Laduree, because it's a magical place.
Pierre Herme, because he's kind of like a macaron rock star.
Patisserie des Reves, because Dorie Greenspan says it's great.
Synie's Cupcakes, because I'm curious to see the French take on the American trend.
Hotel du Cadran, because apparently they have a chocolate shop and great macarons on premises!
Dalloyau, because I hear this rumor that they have a killer Opera Cake.
Chistian Constant, because Clotilde Dusoulier says they have a "picture perfect cup of hot chocolate"
Baillardran, because a pastry shop in a train station is intriguing.
Lecureuil, because they are said to have "petits fours that seem right out of a children's book.
U Sputinu, because I'm into "produits tres bons Corses".
Berthillon, because visiting a famous glacier sounds pretty fantastic.
La Grande Epicerie, because I think I could spend many hours just wandering here.
Patisserie au Grand Richelieu, because it looks old and wonderful.

Don't miss Cafe Angelina, conveniently located close by the Louvre. Their chocolat a l'ancien is pretty much pure melted chocolate and heavy cream, so pretty much delicious! I had 4 of their mini macarons with my chocolat, but I believe there were several other patisseries on the menu as well!
Oh you must go to Du Pain at Des Idees
Soooooo delicious; everything is; I still dream of the chocolate-almond-croissant-like pastry.

Heart Paris! Though not a patisserie per se, but surely a boulangerie, remember to stop by the famous Poilane!

Arnaud Delmontel! They have 3 boulangeries in paris. The one I went to was in Pigalle. AMAZING. You will definitely thank me!

I didn't partake in many patisseries during my time there [too much to see and too little money!], so I'm interested in hearing your reviews.
Go to La Carette near Trocadero for the world's best chocolat chaud. Also, there are so many delicious crêpe stands all around the city-- you can't go wrong with a crêpe au Nutella. ["Two-handed" if you can find them-- too big to hold in one hand!]
And for dinner, L'Absinthe is a wonderful restaurant, Place du Marché St Honoré. Save space for dessert :)

IF you have to choose a Laduree store, go for the one by La Madeleine church, it's the oldest and cutest.
I can't remember the name, but there is a lovely little patisseree just off Rue Cler. When you're on Rue Cler, there is Hotel Levesque. Keep walking up the street and you'll see the children's clothing store Petit Bateau. While facing Petit Bateau go to your right. The pattisierie has a pink and blue exterior and they make the loveliest mini-pastries. I always stop there in the morning and then cross the street to a little cafe/bar and have espresso.
Also on Rue Cler is Boulangerie Artisinale. They have the most amazing pastries and cakes there as well.
Also, at Galeries Lafayette, they have wonderful wonderful pastries, cakes, etc. I even had a cake that had my family name on it (we're French-Canadian). It was wonderful.
Have a lovely time. I haven't been to Paris in three years and I have a deep desire to sip espresso at a cafe, eat pastries, and gaze at the Monets and Degas at Musee d'Orsay.
Various fields of people's life consume lots of efforts, therefore why should you expend life time for persuasive term paper composing? It would be greater to use a classification essay service to order the expository essay at, I guess.
I am so envious, I have not been to Paris for over ten years and I would love to see all these patisseries. I hope you take lots and lots of photos for us!
You should not be working from Paris! The only work you should be doing is transporting the pastries from the plate to your mouth!

BEST croissant and pain au chocolat! great bread and sandwiches too on the less sweet side of things! also go to denise acabo's store near the moulin rouge, as someone else mentioned you can find that and so much more through david lebovitz's site...there is a salted butter caramel there...so good!
I refuse to look at these links on the basis that, if I do, I will black out, and when I come to I will have bought a ticket to Paris that I really cannot afford.
sadaharu aoki (35 rue Vaugirard, 6e, Paris): he has amazing pastries that taste as good as they look! a lot of asian inspired flavors too...black sesame eclairs, green tea madelines, etc. have fun!

Tuesday through saturday 11:30 to 20:00 They have huge heart shaped cookies flavored jasmin and coconut, or geranium and almond paste, violet with fruit confite or chocolate with dried strawberries. There is no where else like this in Paris. Bon appetite!

I'm going to Paris at the beginning of April and hope you will have an update on the Best of the Best. I'm only there for 3 days, but plan on making DESSERTS the main event!
