Sweet Giveaway: Cookbook and Cookies From Tate's

Oh, hey. Remember how like two days ago I did this bake-off, comparing the homemade version of Tate's Bake Shop cookies versus their own mail-order version?

Well, obviously this experiment would be better if you did it yourself, so the fine folks at Tate's are offering up a sweet giveaway!

They're offering a copy of the Tate's Bake Shop Cookbook -- and a filled cookie jar full of their tasty cookies!

It's a fantastic prize package, fun to share with friends or to hoard and enjoy all by yourself (trust me, I won't judge you). Oh, and you should totally follow them on Facebook.

Want to enter yourself in the running? Well (US Residents only, please, since part of the parcel is perishable!), you can do just that by leaving a comment below telling me what kind of chocolate chip cookies you like best: chewy, gooey, or crunchy?

The winner will be chosen at random (and announced shortly thereafter) on next Thursday, December 16 at noon PST!

I'm a chewy in the center with crisp edges kind of person. But if I can't have both, I prefer chewy to any of the others. As a kid my mom would buy (she didn't bake) Soft Batch cookies from Keebler and I guess that preference stuck!

Dear Cookie Queen,
What a sweet giveaway! [accent on sweet, of course]

I love them chewy... I rejoiced the day I found the perfect recipe, one I can manage to make while juggling three children, blogging, homeschooling and all the other projects I require to stay [somewhat] sane... one that turns out PERFECT every time... except when I forget half the flour, or absent-mindedly turn the oven to 475, or try to bak them for, like, an hour.

Jus sayin'

Love,

ALL cookies should be crunchy! Long story short, I once ate the entire enormous container of premade cookie dough. Ever since, the mere thought of that gooey cookie stuff is horrifying. *shudder*

I'm kind of picky. I like them chewey but they have to be crisp at the same time.

Definitely Gooey. I love Kathleen's recipes. My family hoarded all of the copies of her previous book before it got the name change.

Chewy! It's that unique texture you can only get from a chewy cookie.

Chewy. And gooey. :)

Chewy, for sure! Many times I overcooked my cookies, making them too crunchy and crispy. I even accidentally broiled cookies once. But now I *sorta* successfully make chewy ones, which my fiance appreciates.
