In The Mix: A Sweet Giveaway from Gourmet Gift Company!
It's a funny thing, but somehow the shortest weeks always feel the longest. Perhaps it's the harsh reality of going back to real life after a sweet long weekend?
It's official: you deserve a giveaway.
Gourmet Gift Company has generously offered a $100 gift certificate to one lucky CakeSpy reader! Their website is chock full of sweet gourmet mixes for cakes (including flavors like chocolate, red velvet, vanilla and champagne), cookies, brownies and a variety of other treats. Just think how much sweetness $100 could get you on this site--you could pick up some sweet treats for yourself, and friends too! What a sweet gift-by-mail for a faraway friend or relative these mixes would be! Or, if you're planning a wedding or event, the gift certificate would get you quite a few of their unique customized favors.
To put your name in the running, simply leave a comment on this post and tell which of Gourmet Gift Company's flavors you'd try first!
Sorry, US entrants only this time; this giveaway will be closed on Saturday, May 30 at 12 p.m. PST, and the winner will be chosen at random and announced shortly thereafter.

Wow! Well, even though I'm a HUGH chocolate lover, I've never had red velvet. I know, I know . . . that's horrible, but maybe this can be my chance. Would this make me a true dessert virgin?
red velvet! i've actually never tried a red velvet cupcake / or slice of red velvet cake. i need to remedy that immediately.
I'd have to try vanilla first, then chocolate, then Red Velvet, then.....
Easy peasy. The fruit cobbler mix! Hands down.
I think I'd have to go for the pound cake first. Then the fruit cobbler.
I'd have to go with champagne...intriguing and something I probably couldn't recreate!
Mmmmm....chocolate!!!
The champagne cupcakes...I can imagine what they might taste like, but have no idea where I might start to recreate them.
Followed closely by red velvet...mmm...champagne and velvet mixed cupcakes!
Cinnamon cake mix. Mmm.
Mmm... That Cinnamon Streusel Cake Mix looks absolutely wonderful - and I bet the smell of it baking is glorious!
I would definitely try the red velvet cupcake mix first!
Red velvet, please!

Red velvet or champagne sound delish!
I'm torn between the Red Velvet and Champagne, but would probably have to choose Champagne as that is not a cake flavor I've had before!! I'm intrigued!!
Red velvet -- oh how I miss the south.
My first thought was to say champagne. But I'd actually go with red velvet because it is SO hard to find a decent red velvet mix when I don't have time for a from-scratch recipe.
I'd try the champagne. :)
Chocolate! Or wait...Champagne! No, chocolate! Ummmmmmmm ok no maybe Red Velvet.
No.
Chocolate.
But maybe Champagne.PS - I have a US mailing address.
I think Champagne sounds unique!

I'd try the red velvet cupcake mix!
I couldn't possibly say no to trying the chocolate first. But barring that, the red velvet. =)
All over the Champagne cupcake mix witha big dollop of vanilla buttercream frosting! Mmmmmmm!
