In The Mix: A Sweet Giveaway from Gourmet Gift Company!

Giveaway!
It's a funny thing, but somehow the shortest weeks always feel the longest. Perhaps it's the harsh reality of going back to real life after a sweet long weekend?

It's official: you deserve a giveaway.

Gourmet Gift Company has generously offered a $100 gift certificate to one lucky CakeSpy reader! Their website is chock full of sweet gourmet mixes for cakes (including flavors like chocolate, red velvet, vanilla and champagne), cookies, brownies and a variety of other treats. Just think how much sweetness $100 could get you on this site--you could pick up some sweet treats for yourself, and friends too! What a sweet gift-by-mail for a faraway friend or relative these mixes would be! Or, if you're planning a wedding or event, the gift certificate would get you quite a few of their unique customized favors.

To put your name in the running, simply leave a comment on this post and tell which of Gourmet Gift Company's flavors you'd try first!

Sorry, US entrants only this time; this giveaway will be closed on Saturday, May 30 at 12 p.m. PST, and the winner will be chosen at random and announced shortly thereafter.

Going against the Red Velvet tide and choosing the scone mix! I love me some scones!

RED VELVET =]

I would have to pick the champagne cupcakes, served with some nice bubbly, and followed by a red velvet for dessert!

I'd love to try the Red Velvet mix!

You can't go wrong with chocolate!

My birthday was yesterday and I was just thinking of getting myself a little cake-y treat. I ADORE red velvet cupcakes, so I'm thinking I would go with that, but I am curious about the champagne ones, too. Those would make GREAT gift mixes!

I would have to go with the red velvet first! Yum!

Red Velvet!!

champagne and red velvet cupcake mix!

May 26 | Unregistered Commenterlisawang

I would probably try the champagne first, but the red velvet would be a close second.

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterBrittany

Oh MY!!! $100! I'd try the Champagne first, just because it sounds so fun! :)

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterBridget

Red velvet, please! I'd like a source of taste comparison as I gradually close in on a good recipe from scratch.

I would try the champagne cupcake mix because that is something I have never had before. I would probably make it and hide a strawberry inside or make a strawberry frosting...and then of course I would try the chocolate cake.

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle

As much as I love chocolate, I'd have to go with the sugar cookie mix for its versatility. You can make it into so many different tastes, shapes, everything! And nothing beats a good old-fashioned warm and almost soft snickerdoodle.

Yum, red velvet! No wait, chocolate! MMMM, champagne? I'll bet that's good. I do love a good cinnamon streusel cake, though. No, definitely the scone mix. Or the red velvet.

Nothing says "celebration" like cake... or champagne?? How about BOTH!! that's the one I want!

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterKitty

What to choose! What to choose?

My Southern roots scream for the Red Velvet my hormones speak of the wonders of chocolate brownies, and my cup of coffee is chanting cinnamon streusel cake.

So, I would try all three at the same time and be blissful until the sugar coma knocks me to the floor.

Since I've made a ton of red velvet cakes last weekend, I think I'd try the red velvet first since it has been on my brain lately.

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterKelley

I have to pick just one? Oh ok....Chocolate!!!!!!!

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterLorrie

Always up for red velvet

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterGamecockDoc

I think I'd go for the cinnamon streusel cake! It looks amazing!

May 26 | Unregistered CommenterCarrie

The champagne sounds really interesting.
