Sweet Giveaway: Win 4 Cupcakes Baked in Jars!

Canning is all the rage, but I'll tell you the truth: I'd rather eat a cupcake than a jar of preserves any day.

And if you're like me, you'll freaking love this giveaway, for 4 Cupcakes-In-A-Jar!

These sweeties are baked with love by Betty Crocker Wannabe, and one lucky winner will win four delicious treats: 2 each of the Turtle and Chocolate Lover's flavors.

WHAT IS A CUPCAKE-IN-A-JAR? Cupcakes-In-A-Jar are delicious, fully cooked, ready to eat cupcakes layered in a half pint jar and packaged with a signature orange spoon. Each jar contains the equivalent of 2 regular sized frosted cupcakes. Eat immediately upon receipt, refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 6 weeks. What makes Cupcakes-In-A-Jar truly unique is their ability to ship. Each jar is carefully packaged to insure safe delivery.

How do you enter? It's so easy. Simply leave a comment below addressing this important dessert subject: when at a restaurant, do you like to share dessert? Or do you like to like to keep it all to yourself?

One lucky winner will be chosen at random one week, on Thursday, April 14th at noon PST. Since the prize is perishable, US entrants only! If you can't wait, go ahead and order some at Betty Crocker Wannabe.

I usually share since desserts at most places around here are insanely huge!

Well, it depends on the dessert and how large it is of course! If it's creme brulee or any custard I like to keep it for myself:)

I'm happy to share my dessert! Makes it twice as enjoyable because there is absolutely no guilt that I ate too much afterwards!

I am down with cupcakes. :)

I don't share food, and dessert is the most important kind of food there is. So I definitely fall into the I-don't-share-dessert-at-a-restaurant category. My husband is aware of this policy, so no one's feelings get hurt.

I might add that the day you draw a winner for this contest happens to be my birthday. Just in case that is important information when drawing a winner "at random." ;)

I love to share with all my loved ones, even if they eat it all before i get a decent bite. However, when I'm out with my boyfriend and two desserts are irresistible we order both and share it with each other. The more dessert, the merrier!

My preference is for each of us to order a dessert and then share -- it's like two desserts in one. :-)

Um, no. I would not share. That may make me sound incredibly selfish, but I really don't like sharing deserts at a restaurant. The point is, if YOU order something...you order it for yourself...not someone else. Plus, I hate when the person lucky enough to share with me dislikes my taste in deserts, um...don't complain. I could fork your hand off...

Share is the option when you are watching your weight.

I like to share so that each person at the table gets to try some of the different desserts. : )

Sharing is the way to go!

It's fun (and delicious) when everyone buys a different dessert and shares so I can have a taste of them all!

I love to share :) Although if its something good enough, I might just hide it from everyone else.... ;)

In my book there are 2 reasons to share:

1) If I'm indecisive, then I can try more than one dessert.

2) If I'm pretty full, then I can still get a taste of something sweet without having to eat an entire dessert by myself.

I am definitely the sharing kind, especially if my dining buddy is also a sharer. Everyone tries more, everyone wins! Just keep your mitts off my carrot cake =)
April 7 | Unregistered CommenterEmily
Definitely share. All the sweetness, none of the guilt. :D

i like to share multiple desserts. that way, i can taste test everything (and eventually eat the one i really like)!

Restaurant dessert servings are so large now they can give me a tummy ache! I need to split them. But not this fabulous dessert in a jar! I can just put the cap back on and save the rest for later!

Well.....
If it's my brother, then there's no way I'm sharing, but if my mom or dad asks, I share with them. Of course, me not sharing with my brother doesn't mean I don't get to stael some of his dessert later when he's not looking.
mwahahahahaha!

Smile & share...but grumble internally while doing it!
April 8 | Unregistered Commenternicky
I do like to share a dessert so I dont feel like I pigged out too much except for when Im at cheesecake factory...then its dessert all to myself!
April 8 | Unregistered CommenterBaine
I do share but I tend to take larger bites so there isn't that much to share :)
April 8 | Unregistered CommenterSusan G
We always order 2 desserts "to go" and savor them at home. Mmmmmmmmm . . .
April 8 | Unregistered Commenterzukigirl
I love getting several things between us and then sharing---I get to try a better variety of things!
April 8 | Unregistered Commenterannelise
Depends on the dessert. But if it's cheesecake or creme brulee it's allllll miiine.
