In The Mix: A Sweet Giveaway from Gourmet Gift Company!

Giveaway!
It's a funny thing, but somehow the shortest weeks always feel the longest. Perhaps it's the harsh reality of going back to real life after a sweet long weekend?

It's official: you deserve a giveaway.

Gourmet Gift Company has generously offered a $100 gift certificate to one lucky CakeSpy reader! Their website is chock full of sweet gourmet mixes for cakes (including flavors like chocolate, red velvet, vanilla and champagne), cookies, brownies and a variety of other treats. Just think how much sweetness $100 could get you on this site--you could pick up some sweet treats for yourself, and friends too! What a sweet gift-by-mail for a faraway friend or relative these mixes would be! Or, if you're planning a wedding or event, the gift certificate would get you quite a few of their unique customized favors.

To put your name in the running, simply leave a comment on this post and tell which of Gourmet Gift Company's flavors you'd try first!

Sorry, US entrants only this time; this giveaway will be closed on Saturday, May 30 at 12 p.m. PST, and the winner will be chosen at random and announced shortly thereafter.

Red velvet....hands down!

Absolutely Champagne and Red Velvet. I may get these even if I don't win! Thanks for another great giveaway. :)

It'd be a toss up between Red Velvet and Champagne...

I love red velvet!

mmm, probably the scone mix first.

The Champagne cupcakes intrigue me but I've also always wanted to try to make scones. Sigh. Since I'm the only one in the family who would touch a scone I'd probably go cupcake.

May 28 | Unregistered CommenterTalia

Mmmm...I can't even imagine how light and delicious the champagne cupcake must be so that would be my pick!

Champagne - hands down! But with a hundred bucks... I'd host a taste off!

I don't know about which one I would try first because I would probably bake them all at once! I get too excited about new-to-me baking. I would like to try the champagne cupcake mix, chocolate cupcake mix, perfect cookie mix, fudge brownie mix, and sugar cookie mix. Hmm, did I just name them all?

May 28 | Unregistered Commentercjmills

I'd probably go for the champagne cupcake.

May 28 | Unregistered CommenterZeb

Champagne - but I'd add strawberries with a light strawberry frosting and a glazed strawberry on top. Though I've also seen them done with glazed grapes. Okay, I'm drooling...

May 28 | Unregistered CommenterCatie

I'd start with the champagne cupcakes, but I definitely want to try the red velvet, too!

Elis

Oooh, Red Velvet all the way! Sounds delectable.

May 28 | Unregistered CommenterMorgan

As much as I love chocolate I would have to try the Champagne. A champagne cupcake with a glass of almond champagne...yum! Ok, now I really want a cupcake. Lucky for me Elizabethan Desserts is just down the street (Encinitas, CA) and they have wonderful cupcakes.

May 28 | Unregistered CommenterKylie

I first would want to try the Red Velvet and then I would have to try the Champagne mix
